I think Boba Fett's name was said onscreen at one point. In Return of the Jedi, just before Han knocks Fett's jetpack that sends him spiralling into the space butthole, I think Han says to Chewy, "Boba Fett?! Where?!" I may be wrong though.

The neat thing about Fett's demise. . . he went into the Sarlacc, to be digested over a thousand years. . . Which means that he would have time to escape - his armor would protect him to a certain extent from what is obviously a weak stomach acid (as evidenced by it taking a thousand years to digest). It is conceivable that he could appear in EP 9. He won't, but he could. Side note: I knew where the sound of blasterfire came from - recognized it instantly, because when I was a small child living in the country. . . I used to smack telephone pole guy wires with sticks or rocks or whatever I got my hands on. The sound totally reminded me of my early childhood.

+Last Guy Minn I hate to say that, but...Lucas can make good "popcorn-happy-end-movies". Like "American Graffiti" or the Original SW. But the "higher school" of directing with character studies and dark tones seems to be not his thing. Ep 5 is my opinion the best of the entire SW saga, because there is less George Lucas in it. Irvin Kershner (old school director), Gary Kurtz, etc. If only Han Solo would've died...The movie would be PERFECT. Because it was Fords orginal intention and a great adding of meaning to the last time when Han and Luke see each other and Han says "Be careful". And then he dies. And of course it would add the tragic note to the love of Han and Leia. And tragedy is the deepest form of entertaining. And after this film...everything went crazy. Only one word: Ewoks. Imagine if (according to the original intention) the battle of the 2nd DS would've take place over Kashyyk instead of Endor. Mighty, angry Wookies instead of ridiculous teddys. And it gets worse and worse. Still today.

Addendum to Episode IV: James Earl Jones was the only Black actor in the entire 'Star Wars' film. Black rights being a hot topic in the 70's - JEJ was asked by leaders of the Black Panthers, Jesse Jackson and other black actors and activists to remove his name from the film in protest. Which he did. Hence the strong push to cast Lando as a black actor. The sound of the laser-sword (sorry) was done by accident as the sound guy forgot to turn off his mic when making some adjustments and the sound was made when he walked by one of his old tube-TV sets while still holding the mic... so many great things are found by accident... that would be a great subject for a short. For a guy to mock die hard fans for pronouncing the letters when saying AT-AT, but to have mispronounced Leia and Tunisia in the last video and then not know the hilarious, "BOBA Fett? BOBA Fett? WHERE?!??" line from ROTJ, is laughable proof that the voiceover guy, the editor, and the producers don't like Star Wars as much as this channel would like you to think. It's an ad revenue cash grab, and it obviously worked because here I am nitpicking like a sucker. At least I have Red (Or "Premium," as I guess they're calling it now...) so I don't have to watch the ads just to be allowed to nitpick while they make bank off of my view. Lol

Ebert's way off with his "cheerfulness" of the original Star Wars.......Literally almost everything in that movie until Luke blows up the Death Star is dark and negative.....The princess gets captured and tortured, Luke's Aunt and Uncle get murdered, Luke gets attacked by Sand People, people on both sides get choked, Leia gets her entire planet blown up, Obi-Wan gets murdered, many rebellion pilots get killed onscreen.......What makes the payoff in the original Star Wars so great is that almost everything up til then had been so dismal.........Oh yeah, Empire's a good movie......But the original Star Wars is what created the pandemonium.....And the original Star Wars is where the real magic is, and the original is definitely imo the superior film.

#46 is wrong. Although Boba Fett's name is never said in Empire Strikes Back, in Return of the Jedi it is said. While Han is blind and Boba joins the fight, Chewbacca says something in wookie and Han responds "Boba Fett!?"

2:33 Hidden Fortress being a source of inspiration is a Fact about the original Star Wars, not Empire. Sure the characters are the same, but the plot of A New Hope closely follows Hidden Fortress and Empire's does not. 6:43 such a small character? Obviously whoever wrote this video doesn't know shit. It should have been written "Bobba Fett is such a major character, that out of the 20+ characters introduced in the Star Wars Holiday Special, he was the only one to be included in Empire Strikes Back and subsequent films"

I do not know if this was a mistake or not, but #90 and #91 contradict each other. #90 says Hamil didn't know about Vader being his father until just before the scene was shooting. Then in #91, they clearly state that Hail and a few others were the ONLY people who DID know that Vader was the father beforehand. I have also heard that Hamil was aware the Vader was the father approx. a year before shooting. So, was #90 a mistake including Hamil as one of the character who was unaware of Vader's relation to Luke?

Uuuuuuh the correct pronounciation is AT-AT and not at-at. this is because of when other walkers like the AT-ST AT-ET and AT-TE's had to be prounounced the couldn't be pronounced the way at-at was.

4:21 actually the kill count is much higher because each AT-AT has 40 SnowTroopers in side, and I don’t mean to be nitpicking I just want you to know and what makes the kill count go even higher is when the Star Destroyers we’re leaving the astroid field a Star Destroyers bridge was blown up by a asteroid, just saying.

I think Empire is the best Star Wars film. But the award for greatest sequel, at least for a major scifi IP, would probably go to Wrath of Khan. Because it completely changed the direction of the entire Star Trek series for not only that film, but the next four films and three TV series. And fans almost universally liked the change, despite its creator not liking it. Guess it shares that with Empire.
