I've always been interested in history and have studied some of these conflicts, but the narration coupled with the video game imagery or whatever it is really brings it to life (ironically). These events must have been massive spectacles to behold and I think you really capture that in an efficient manner. The contemporary paintings and art and description well brilliantly executed don't quite do it justice. This approach feels much more impactful. Suggest reaching out to school districts to see if they want to have you focused on particular historical conflicts. Might be a nice side business in a limited attention span world :-)

There are many who look at today's technology and say that Genghis Khan's hordes could have been stopped, but not so...the people of that time had the technology and tactics of that time...totally inappropriate to the maneuver warfare that the Mongols excelled at. The only victories achieved against those steppe butchers were achieved in ambushes or when they were forced to fight battles in terrain unsuitable for cavalry. But these occasions were rare, for the Mongols also had a few great generals who avoided engaging in conditions that nullified their strengths.

Islam ruled India for 800years . The hindu majority was totally at their mercy . I agree many moslem rulers was corrupt and just simply bad humanbeings but, but its important to aknowledge that no mass execution or forced conversion to islam was done . This shows the difference between islam and the rest of the world's religions. Most Hindu temples was left alone and respected , I said most not all. Individual moslem rulers did some pretty bad stuff but that was on them not Islam. The proof that I am telling truth is simply that look at today's India and Spain . Both was conquered and ruled by moslems for between 700 to 800 years , yet they still remained in a big majority over the moslems Because neither the Christians in Spain or the Hindus in India was forced to become moslem as the Spanish did to the people's of the new world Americas into Christianity. 800 years the moslems had to completely control and dominate , do whatsoever they wanted to the 100s millions of Hindus and they did Not use this power to exterminate Hindus or their culture , because Islam invites you it does NOT FORCE YOU. Individual barbaric moslem personalities did not practise islam when they harmed Hindus .Thankyou.

The Islamic Golden Age was already in decline for several centuries by the time of this battle, which some consider the final nail in the coffin. Eventually Islamic fundamentalism arose to replace the learning that had taken place before, and the region was never the same after that. For people saying the Muslims deserved this for destroying the Nalanda University, consider this: This comes from Tabaqat-i Nasiri by Minhaj-i-Siraj, a Persian historian, describing Bakhtiyar Khilji's attack on Nalanda: Attack on Nalanda: Khilji's forces attacked what they thought was a fortress. It was actually Nalanda, an ancient Buddhist university. "Shaven-headed Brahmans": This phrase refers to Buddhist monks, as they traditionally shaved their heads. Minhaj-i-Siraj may have misunderstood or generalised them as Brahmans (Hindu priests). Destruction and Books: After killing the inhabitants, the invaders discovered numerous books in the library. They wanted someone to interpret the texts, but no scholars or monks survived to explain them. Realisation: The Muslims then realized that this "fortress" was not a military installation but a center of learning (a university). The local term "Bihar" (from Vihara, meaning a Buddhist monastery) referred to the university. Essentially, the Muslims mistakenly destroyed a major educational and cultural institution, realising its significance only after the massacre and destruction.

@@bobs182 It was fortunate that much of this learning had by then arrived in Al-Andalus. When Alfonso VI took Toledo (or had it handed over to him, depending on your preference) in 1085, the library amassed by the previous muslim rulers was the finest in Europe. Scholars from christian Europe flocked there to study and disseminate the manuscripts held there. On a point of detail, the numbers we use today originated in India and passed through the muslim world. Muslim scholars also built on previous work by Indians and Greeks in what they did. The idea that the Arabs 'saved' Ancient Greek learning has been overcooked. Pretty much all those manuscripts survived in Europe, but had been buried away in archives and ignored. Many re-emerged from Constantinople from where better translations could be made, without the accretion of errors that invariably slipped in during multiple previous translations.

Sorry but as a Mongol , i feel the animation depicting the Mongols are horrible. I’m talking about their facial characteristics, their armors, flags, snd weapons. Also where did people come up with this idea about the Mongol cavalry marching in lockstep like the Romans or North Koreans? Simply laughable 😂
