They DO understand words if you use the same words consistently for them. My cats have always known the words, EAT, TREATS (they learned this word FAST), CANDY (I say 'candy' for their dehydrated salmon/chicken, etc) and there are other words I have to SPELL.......I have to spell for CATS!!! hahaha!! Oh "TOY" is another biggie. They'll get their favorite toy everytime I say, "GET YOUR TOY. GET IT!!!! Some folks think cats aren't nearly as smart as dogs, but I've had both & the only thing it depends on is how committed their humans are. Saying a word 3-5 times & showing it to them is all the training they need. You'll end up having to SPELL words more than you ever expected!!!

@Tiara Yvonnette Scott I can't really share what words, actually phrases, my cat taught me...(KZbin standards 'n such)........I try to pay close attention to her moods so I don't get the business end of the squirt water bottle!! She really doesn't use it as long as I act like I'm really, really sorry. See......it's all about good communication!!! Cats rule!

You are right. Cats do understand words ! My cats ( both males) used to come to me whenever I called their names ,also when I said " come here " in both either English ,or Japanese ! Lol The way CAT'S BRAIN IS MADE( designed ) IS SO SIMILAR ,ALMOST IDENTICAL TO OURS they say ! 👍💜💙❤😸😻💞

Good morning guys, happy sunday! Lex, you aren't giving me hearts, I listen and watch your videos, I am so in love with Cinnabon and of course my Cat Muffin as well...I just loveee when he finish eating he would go directly to his favorite sofa where his comfy green blanket is located, then he would clean himself and take a nap...Cats tend to be very curious about every little detail and now he is smelling the cardboard box to see where it came from...Have a purr Sunday! You are so good to him. Glad you got him a box. He was a little slower to take to it than most cats, but within a say or two he'll probably be climbing in it freely. He might be nervous because it was such a deep one. Soon you'll notice him scratching the heck out of the cardboard. But, you'll probably find he'll start ignoring it completely after a short time. The solution, get him another one. For some reason boxes have a useful limit to cats. LOL Thanks for the lesson on ethanol. Who knew I'd learn useful stuff watching a cat video? Take care, Lex. You are well on your way to becoming the neighborhood's crazy cat lady.

I hope you closed the gasoline( the lock / dial to release ) container after wards ! And hopefuly you put the box somewhere else for Cinnabon for precaution. It's not good to let Cinnabon play near toxic stuffs ! Cinnabon looks happier & he gives you love beams almost constantly latey !!! I also noticed his furs's colour is looking so bright & his furs are looking so much healthier than used to be ,I had noticed this & mentioned a while back then. What a difference that love makes !
