Those non stick pans are pretty much all shit and in my experience it doesn't matter what you use it's eventually going to break down in the pan to season your fried eggs in the morning

@@RetroLobe nonstick coatings cant go up to high temps, so unless you are really careful to keep your pan from getting too hot, it's going to degrade and burn into the food. Its physically impossible to cook some things without degrading the coating. They also get damaged easily by scraping, and can get covered in gunk and loose their nonstick if you use nonstick spray on them. They arent inherently shit pans, just whiny divas that need special attention and that may or may not be worth it for different people.

You won't cut yourself with the knife if you move it parrallel towards your hand, only when you cut with an angle and slide it downwards when you cut the last cm. I cut like that a lot and never cut myself. Just take your knife parrallel to your palm and press it a little, it won't cut since you are pushing the knife down instead of pulling it towards you. Though when someone cuts like that they need to have at least some experience with a knife or they might go to the hospital.

mayonnaise doesn't have milk in it though, it's eggs with vinegar or lemon juice, salt and oil. While eggs are classified as a "dairy food" in grocery terms, they don't contain any lactose or dairy found in milk and cream, the main component of cheese which Lee (or is it Leigh? I've never seen it spelled) is sensitive or intolaerant to. Sour cream is definitely a dairy though.

Most firm cheeses, such as gouda, cheddar, parmesan and a bunch of other ones, are also lactose free or have very low amounts. Even mozzarella, which isn't that firm, has very low amounts of lactose. Whey is what's left over after making those cheeses, that's where all the lactose go.

I was wondering what kind of mayonnaise they are eating that contains lactose. A lot of fermented milk products contain little or no lactose because the fermentation process literally eats up the lactose.
