He is the typical uncle next door who thinks he knows everything & looks down upon everyone else. By using the example of one & only one actress who can demand an equal pay with the male actors(that too because she proved herself in other industries) to discredit thousands of other women who are exploited and denied fair treatment in their work place,he is showing how insensitive and dishonest he is to others around him. The interviewer's discomfort at his line of answering is so evident.

The govt. always advertise that smoking causes cancer but inspire of decades of compaign millions are still smoking. But cancer is not the only decease that smoking causes. Smoking affects the nerves system of the body which in turn makes the man impotent, affects eye sight, makes brain slow, affects physical movement, even makes his tongue wobble ,affects hearing ,causes digestion problems etc. I think all these should be printed on the cigarette packets. Why Srini stopped smoking is because of this. That's why he said there is no need for advise and when the time comes one will stop it automatically. But in many cases it will be too late.
