I've been reading and researching self-help/Business books for the last few months. I have watched dozens of illustrated videos on Stephen Covey's "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People". These are by far the most informative well done video's I have found so far. Well done and thank you! Highly Recommend!!!

I agree that it is important to be aware of things out of your control. Instead of worrying it's far more productive to correct the things that are in your control or do something else while waiting like listening to an informative or motivational podcast.

But as you also know than it is easier said than done :D I used to struggle with this as well and I still sometimes do, because it is easy to forget what is important. I found that #1 tip in the video has helped me the most! :)

Thank you for the great illustration and video. May I ask you please about the copy rights for that? I believe this was introduced first by Steven R. Covey in "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" back in the days. Didn't you have to mention that? Thank you.

I hope everyone realizes that while your circle of influence grows, the circle of concern stays roughly the same size. Because the ratio of influence:concern changes this is the same as saying that the circle of concern shrinks. Hopefully that demystifies it a bit! Also, I appreciated the different way of explaining this.

Hi Jackson, Thank you for your comment and adding to conversation. The main thing is to focus on the things that you can influence so that all energy is spent there instead of worrying about unchangable Janis

Hey! Very nice video. About circle of influence - part of things i have learned myself. For example - about queue in shops. I always try to choose better time, when queue is shorter - to avoid this problems. Similar is for "Stop worrying about something that has happened or will happen and can`t be changed". About this type of situations i take them as lesson. This way i can learn to evade similar situations in future. About trafic - i always plan when i will drive to avoid not necessary trafic jams. Maybe i can to work on my tasks in job and then drive later. Or i can spent this time learning and then while driving think about this things what i have been learned.

Very nice and interesting video, although I have one comment : in my opinion, considering ads, manipulations by other people, etc. I don't believe we have a 100% control over our body, thoughts and actions.

Thank you for putting these very helpful videos together. I am an over 50 year old person trying to start a new career after lots of confusing decisions in my life. I have a career as an Xray Tech, and I really love it, but it doesn't fulfill my dream of success. I want to become an Physician's Assistant and focus on immunology, I am still confused as to how to approach this, what school I can attend and how I will pay for it. Can you help me get to a base start?

The first step is to research. No one else is going to do it for you. do the research and look at the options that you have to achieve your dreams. ;)

Really good video! It is so easy to get consumed in the day to day 'worry' and to get fixated into the things that are out of your control and outside your circle of influence. I struggle with worrying about things that are outside my circle of influence just like in your video where the salesman didn't make his numbers and was worried about the upcoming meeting. This video helped me to think about how to stay in my circle of influence and to convert my worry into positive actions that can help stay within my goal.

Very nice and informative video... very well elaborates on the concept of circle of influence...one suggestion like u said to ask yourself this question daily -"Am I in my circle of influence?", What one can do write this question somewhere where he can view it throughout his day as a constant reminder

They're trying to force the vaccine on you that you don't need. That is of a whole different level bro. You have complete control over your own body and you can refuse it. Also, it ís in your circle of influence. Reject places and people who demand that you are vaccinated.

Interesting advice and pretty accessible. It was good to see some racial diversity and someone who uses a wheelchair. But I was looking for a few more women (except at meetings)! There was one at the beginning of the video who went shopping but all the other featured 'actors' and 'reactors' are male. C'mon - you can do better than that to include half the human race .... :)
