Same. I remember seeing these commercials when I was a kid back in the day and that's the only part that stuck in my memory. We had a standalone CC in my old hometown back then in a shopping center that included a Toys R Us and a long since defunct grocery store called Rack N Sack. The shopping center was redeveloped over a decade ago with the old buildings razed and new ones put up in their place. The RnS is now a Kohls, the Toys R Us a Martin's grocery store, and the space formerly occupied by CC (which had closed down well before the razing) is where they put the grocery store's mini gas station. So it goes.

I really preferred Circuit City over Best Buy up until the early 2000s. The company was sadly killed by bad management that couldn't make easy day to day decisions but made huge blunders like the decision to invest in DIVX.

I brought my first VCR at Curcuit City. It was on sale for 49.99. Piece of crap, it recorded mediocre quality and broke after three years. By that point I had learned about the difference in VCR options and playback capabilities but VHS was obsolete … as it was 2006.

I was trying to remember the name of the company from this commercial. All I remembered was the plug at the end. I used to watch this ad every afternoon after school looking through my neighbors window because we were too poor to afford a TV. I remember that as soon as Power Rangers would end at 5pm then they would run this ad before Sister Sister. My neighbor always let me watch TV through the window so that I wouldn't miss the cartoons in the afternoon. Animaniacs, Looney Tunes, Batman and then Power Rangers on WB.
