What are the equations if there is no dependent current source and instead of the same 20volt source, there is an 20volt source with opposite polarity after swithing to second position.

Thank you so much for this video. I searched for hours to find a video that included both dependent and independent voltage sources within an RL circuit. I spent close to 7 hours trying to complete this problem (7.55 in Fundamentals of Electric Circuits) but I could not figure out how to determine the current io. Is it zero because the current from the independent source would "clash" into the current from the dependent? Thanks so much for the help!

it is late to answer but I will instead of no thing the current I as the time goes to infinity by which he means the final value of the current flowing through the inductor and after a long time from the switching event and after a long time from the switching event the energy stored in the inductor will be dissipated through the resistive load and the current would just go to 0 amps that's all
