CIRE TRUDON CANDLE REVIEW I TheTopNote

Today I am reviewing Cire Trudon candles. Cire Trudon are the oldest candle maker established in 1643, they have more recently moved into the line of perfumery. They have a very long history providing candles of many shapes and forms to royalty and the general public. For the longest time I wondered if any candle could be worth the price that they were asking, but having learned a little more about their history and the artisanship that goes into their products I was willing to give them a try.
Today I talk about the candles I recently purchased and what I think of them, as well as some other options to experience these scents at a more accessible price point.

@@TheTopNote I've noticed that there are another cire trudon master class will be hold on libertine's website. You mentioned that they will send some cameos before the class. And I wonder how many items did they send? I really want to try some different candles from Cire Trudon, but I might not be able to go throughthe class as then will be the exam period...if the products they send worth $50, I'd like to get it and not going to the class😄😄

今天还是这么可爱 hiya I can say without hesitation that the amount of product you get is worth much more than the $50 class fee. A pack of 4 cameos is about $40 - in the class we explored 12 fragrances (they base it on the fragrance wheel created by Michael Edwards) and then they also throw in some other goodies PLUS you get the discount code. But maybe email them and ask if they are likely to hold another class at a later date? Being able to attend is well worth it...and fun!

I am a sucker for beautiful packaging and containers. Especially if I can repurpose them. I ordered a trudon room spray and cannot wait to receive it. I also want to try fonasetti candles and room sprays. Very very pricy but the containers are set work.

Nice video! I love Cire Trudon. I have 6 of their candles and one cameo (they cameo was sent to me for free after spending what I did) From your video, I learned something about the evolution of the Solix Rex scent! Do you have any recommendations for good Australian candle companies? I'm trying to expand past French, English and North American candle companies. I've managed to find some great Korean, Greek, and Irish candles but interested in Australia or other Countries. I've only been to Australia 4x and hope to make it back after the COVID situation!

I don’t live near any stores that stock Trudon. I purchased the Abd el Kader which was a disappointment since it smelled like caprese salad to me. I also got Cyrnos and Manon which I love. I was looking next at balmoral or spiritus sancti, any advice?

Hello, I was wondering Now that you've had the lovely warmer for a few months are you finding that the cameos hold their scent after several quick melts.

Hi! I do find that they hold their scent very well, although I confess I rarely melt them quickly, I tend to have them going for a couple of hours at a time, and even then I find I get way more than the recommended "8 hours" melt time from them :) I would say I'm getting about 12 hours with fairly decent scent throw.

Thank you for your video! When I was so indecisive that whether I should take the 24/06 Libertine Parfumerie cire trudon Ourika online class and I saw this video!! It's like a normal zoom meeting you can see everyone who has their camera turned on, and you can turn your own camera off if you just want to listen and watch. :)

How does the scent of Nazareth compare to Diptyque's Pomander? Do you get much citrus?

I haven’t tried Pomander, but I do get the orange in Nazareth, although it’s not juicy orange, more like dark pithy orange, if that makes sense.
