My only complaint about my cirque jacket is the fitted neck….. Granted I’ve got a linebacker neck but what pencil neck model did you make it for. Makes it hard to really use the hood and still breath. That said it’s a great jacket. My primary late season hunting jacket in Northern Montana and became my favorite all around everyday winter jacket. I live in it 3 months a year. Outstanding job guys

@@stoneglacier9636 it’s already a xxl …… I’ve just got a big neck. Might help if you sized up the neck with the shoulder size….. but then if it fit me you’d lose that fit for the majority of people. I don’t use the hood much anyway. Rifle season for us last year was Cold. Cold enough my normal gear was just not cutting it and hiking in a puffy is to much. The cirque fits that hole perfectly. It was so nice that I wore it everyday all winter

If a person was just starting to build their system would you recommend the Cirque or Grumman as a first insulation purchase? Not planning on anything lower than 20°F Also any plans for a video on the De Havilland jacket? I’m intrigued by it but not sure where it would fall in to my system. Thanks!

That decision would depend on what style of hunts you're planning on going. Each serve a purpose that would edge one or the other in favor depending on hunt. If you call into the shop we can talk through it with you! Our number is 406-404-0641

I have alot of SG, but I know you huys are not afraid to hear opinions too. The drawstring, on the side! Can u put them maybe more towards the front or back a little?? Everyone does it, but when it gets cold, u usually use it, the problem is that the cord has grabbed 2 of my pocket knives and pulled it out and lost it somewhere, and then walking in the timber, it's also snagged! Another time was my rifle scope! I know u guys care about that stuff, and we only wear the best! I think the back would be best! Out of the way!

That's a Mountain Hardware synthetic insulated vest. We will have a vest option in the future.
