You could check the taxi diagram for your departure airport. It should list if the airport is equipped with PDC, CPDLC etc!

Hey Scott. Another good practice to do is in regards to overpowering the autopilot. Eventually, over time, each time you muscle-overpower the servo, it causes wear on the clutch. You're best testing if you can overpower the servo once (like when it's your first flight in the plane) and then use the AP Disconnect Button to make sure it disconnects the AP.

@@flying_scottit’s best NOT to overpower the AP on the run up. Heading, Engage, disengage. Overpowering it will wear out the servos. Always a good idea to bring a couple of spare servos along with you too.

Cool video love the G7.. neat they tell you to follow the eastern gap, been that way in my boat. Never noticed aircraft following the same route.

Truth be told, they had never said that. I said afirm, just assuming that was the only gap. Probably a dumb move, but she said a mile to mile base and that’s the only gap. So it was a safe assumption… but still should never assume. 😉

Scott, something else in my AP test flow is to make sure my TOGA button disconnects the AP as well! Nice work on holding the AP disconnect and checking to make sure the trim doesn't move Great Video!

OKLND 1 RNAV arrival requires RNAV 1. In the aircraft setup, you have not selected PBN approved and ICAO PBN is "None" in your aircraft setup screenshot. I use this SR22 G6 setup: ICAO equipment B, G, L, O, R. ICAO surveillance B2, C. ICAO PBN A1, B2, C2, D2, O2, S1 (based on Garmin's ICAO & PBN code spreadsheet available online).

hi cool video man, i'm a newbie with super simple question -> what is the name of the app you use to file your flight plans and is it also possible to use it to file plans in Europe?

Hi, it’s ForeFlight 👍🏻 I assume it works similarly in Europe, but I haven’t personally done it.
