He literally took Daniel Cormier down, who almost made the Olympics, who wrestled Cael Sanderson the best wrestler in collegiate history. That can’t be emphasized enough. Jones has the wrestling advantage even with time off. Will he be able to close the distance? Who knows? Gane is very light on his feet and great with angles but even if mma wrestling evolves based on whatever measure you’re using? That still doesn’t negate Jones inherent skill in wrestling.
