Very very intesting and one more important thing that i have always realised myself is that Zipra was fighting two enemies, zanla and the Rhodisian army.

Is Colonel saying uDabengwa was an infiltrant? I can sense that he doesn't approve of DD's appointment, so I wonder if his view is based on him viewing DD as being lukewarm like Masuku, him being used to fulfill a certain agenda, or is it because he thinks he was a sellout?
@robertncube-s3v24 күн бұрын
I agree. He even calls the Rhodesian army as THE army

I feel like stating about the issue said about Mr.D.D,He was a member of JOC not ZNA,.JOC included the ministers such as current President,etc.What l know zpra guys were assimilated into an already cooked meal by the British and zanu,.l like it when my Commander talks of Machimini, still could not be promoted by the responsible be govt..The other thing l realised in this issue is about NSO,this was not.a civilian organisation but a millitary organisation, that is feeding zpra info.They may have had their short comings yes,but what happened as from 1980 to present,Zanu had an full control.True my Commander is a true hero, Could have been a Brigadier but Zanu made it hard for him to be promoted.remaining for a longtime in the same rank..

In all honest uDD was a civilian heading Zapu intelligence but was forced on Zipra thats why zipra intelligence was disbanded. Zipra combatants were well trained and understood the separation of politics and army thats why they saw through that and never trusted NSO and called it as such, a Civilian organization imposed on the army.

I always find it too coincidental that only Mangena and his two body guards died in that freak landmine incident yet the truck was said to be so full to an extent that many were hanging. There is no doubt that those that have tried to assassinate him (and failed) followed him up because they had not been arrested.
@joconiaeleck13453 жыл бұрын
Soneni had a hand with the CiO in arms caches on Zipra and Zapu properties hence his reward posting to Angola. He had even declared his interest in selling out non the less to a conditionally determined outcome

Colonel Tshipa your story is very interesting .However the only inaccurate point is Mangena did not bury those comrades I personally buried them . there were no Graves when we dug the Graves. The tools that were supposed to be were handed over to us . If you want more information you can respond to this posting .
