Why Africans who have had the privilege to be trained abroad don't use their skills to transform the continent.Africa doesn't have to be one entity before it can be developed.if Africa unite and can create jobs for the people the trajectory of the continent will m not change.if Singapore with no known natural resources can develop with good policies and foreign investments.I believe if Africa countries can pursue good policies with foreign investments it can develop.Mechanised agriculture to replace peasant farmers in this 21st century,no investment in new capital city prior to mechanized agriculture in ghana. The highly fragmented retail sector of numerous petty traders and hawkers be consolidated into large supermarkets and departmental store chains,We cannot continue to train accountants in ghana, while every business seem to be too small to require the service of accountant. This explains the need to consolidate crucial industries in ghana.ln the United States the auto industry until recently was dominated by three large corporations.General Motors,Ford and Chrysler. General Motors is amalgamation of Buick,Oldsmobile,Chevy etc.The cocoa industry is millions of dollars annually, two or three large corporations could be established with a mission to produce cocoa in ghana, more formal jobs would be created in rural areas where they would have operations.Retail in America is not littered with numerous petty traders and hawkers as in ghana,it's dominated by large stores, hiring the services of accountants, sales managers etc.

Prof. I hope you come back and contest for the flag bearership spot. We need simple and basic ideas to develop the nation. Yes, when you borrow and spend on non income yielding projects, you should expect to be in debt. The mounting debt keeps you incapacitated. We need a third alternative, the New CPP in 2024. It can be done with fresh new ideas and new faces.

Great man, Professor Agyeman Badu Akosa, you're very eloquent and articulate. Please, GOD bless you. We're praying for you and the CPP party to come to power again. It's ONLY CPP party that can move this nation forward. It's always pleasant hearing speak passionately and our motherland Ghana. Looking forward to hearing you another time. You're not saying all these good into the empty space rather you're infusing the younger generation to carry the mantle of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It will definitely take the people of Ghana and world by surprise one day when the CPP takes over.

This man has some great information however he is a victim or fell into a trap. Why, many Ghanaians especially those that have spent time abroad like myself fail to recognise that being a party leader or president of Ghana is not THE answer to Ghana issues. At least not the immediate answer. In other words they should rather work like he said from the grassroots by establishing one business that they can use as example to Ghanaians or work solely on one at least, constituency win them over, make this place everything you envision for Ghana then project that success to the national level. This point is crucial because until Ghanaians can be inspired by your deeds it’s difficult for them to switch from their known parties. They all come and quickly want to run for leadership No, this is not to say they don’t have good ideas but I feel that their ideas can be better implemented in one place to access the viability. For instance if there is one community in Ghana so vibrant and prosperous everyone will ask who is the leader and that is when people will listen to you. So far almost all of them go into Ghana perhaps naive thinking that their good intentions and solutions will cut it. In the end just like this man they realised that it’s too late or all the money and influence disappears. This also goes into Ghana’s biggest challenge they spread the little budget too thinly to accommodate all regions. Here I think the solutions is spend at least half the budget on one major issue in Ghana to solve the problem entirely then move on. Like roads just do one major road like 4-6lanes Accra to Kumasi do it well then move on instead they touch on all roads in the country and because the money is not enough they do shoddy work and the problem is still there. If you want to take anything from this comment then it should be, making one constituency so successful that others will want to copy. That is achievable. For instance one business that employs 70-90% of all citizens in that constituency with company healthcare and local leadership. That to me is very powerful as people can see it. Business profits reinvested into the local economy. And that is my dream when I return not to chase presidency when no one really knows me or form or join political parties. Start small!!!

Ghana must achieve mechanized agriculture to replace peasant farmers in this 21st century, prior to thinking of investing millions or billions of dollars in new capital city. The highly fragmented retail sector of numerous petty traders and hawkers be consolidated into large supermarkets and departmental store chains.Accountants are trained to be employed by large businesses, but in ghana every business seem to be own by individuals who do not require the services of accountants. The United States economy has evolved from agriculture to industrialization and now information economy.Retail in America is not littered with numerous petty traders and hawkers as in ghana, but rather large supermarkets and departmental stores dominate the sector, creating jobs accountants, sales managers etc.Accountants are trained to be hired by mega and mega mega businesses. Why do we continue to train accountants in ghana, where there are few corporations and every business seems to be individually owned?
