Bro we know what real rap sounds like. Remember though that the DJ’s and producers have a lot of influence on what makes a track great. A lot of these 90’s tracks have amazing samples and that’s usually what separates yesterday’s rap from today. Not including that mumble BS.

Elite level production. If you listen closely you can hear that the sample clips with and without the Bill Withers vocals are the same clip. Just with the vocals present or EQ'd out. And those drums and bass line are phenomenal.

There are so many factors that make this a masterpiece of a track, I'll just say my favorite and it's that kick drum sound plus that pattern!! so unique that I hardly remind of any hip hop track even just similar, it adds a sick bounce to the mellow main sample and the result is just wow!
