Just got my Wired Freedom 2024.2. My initial thoughts are: big.adjustment coming from 20” fat bikes and motorcycles - not news as all the reviewers have mentioned the size of the bike. Throttle is twitchy and lags, so if you’re in level 5 you’ve got to be ready for when that throttle kicks in. For that reason I kept shifting down to peddle assist 3 and only used 5 for hills or high speed roads. I set the start power to 3 which is the softest start and the throttle setting to match the pedal assist level. Riding full out in 100 degree heat and it did briefly shut down for about a minute after a steep hill. Motor temp hit about 298 degrees per display. Suspension feels nice, lots of travel - so much so that the rear rack hit my tailbone a couple of times. I’m 6’5” with long legs and sometimes sit at the very back of the seat. I’ll have to adjust seat height and suspension settings to see if this will be an issue for me. Overall though, lots of power, climbs hills like it’s nothing, and fun as heck.
@brianroof58872 ай бұрын
You can go in the settings and change the throttle control to cause the throttle to be less twitchy and power to surge gradually at a slower rate . Took me a few months to tweak the settings to how I like them

The difference between 20x4 and 26x4 is truly massive and comes down to rider size, personal preference and riding style. If you stay on well paved roads, the 20x4 is great, but the 26x4 is much more capable offroad, feels more stable at speed, and goes over obstacles that would swallow a 20x4 bike. The 20x4 is much more nimble, particularly at slower speeds. If you are coming from a smaller tire bike, you will be shocked at how comfortable and capable the 26x4 is, they go anywhere. Off course you have to be big enough to ride the big boy tires.

1500w/3000w means can not be ridden in public in United States with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions in a couple states. No roads, no sidewalks no trails no bike lanes

correct but in general no where enforces this plus even if they tried it would be impossible to inforce since you can take the name and stickers off and they look the same as your typical 750watt ebike.

@DaveGonzales-qz4ks and you need to follow the law or be prosecuted and persecuted As presume you don't. I have multiple legal ebikes used legally and mountain, road, cruiser and hybrid bikes. People who flaunt breaking the law due to sense of entitlement or stupidity (like not knowing the laws) are arguably the main reason the United States is being destroyed

Your Dad looks too big for that EMS ebike...He'd be better with a 26inch fat tire.
