I own the 2024+ freedom. I have about 500 miles on mine right now. I bought a few extra accessories ( bag, mirrors, seat, phone and cup holder, fishing pole holder, helmet, plus a lot of future maintenance supplies). Mine arrived in perfect condition except for some scratches on the goose neck which were minor. I have experienced no shaking or vibration at all, but I do not ride with no hands. I also called my car insurance and added the bike for $15 a month. That will cover any theft or accidents. I am really enjoying the bike. It gets me out of the house (I am 59) for some much needed exercise. I only ride with the front battery cause I do not need the second right now. But If I ever decide to go on a longer ride it will be nice to have as backup. I can honestly say nothing negative about this bike. Well, maybe one thing. I am 5'9" and did not realize how freaking HUGE this bike was. It does take an extra effort to get on and off the bike. I step over the bar in front of the seat. Seems to be easier than throwing leg across the rear rack for me. I usually ride on 7th gear with peddle assist one at 4%. Once my legs get tired, I switch to peddle assist 2 and then rinse and repeat. I can feel the burn in my legs so I know I am getting a workout. This also decreases the amount of battery being used, so longer between charges. I live in Colorado so my rides are absolutely beautiful. I look forward to years of enjoyment from this bike and like you feel great about the investment. Ty for sharing your story. Stay safe out there :)

I do wish they offered the additional battery as an option.@stephenolotu5588

Could you provide the details/links to the two seats and the rearview camera you have installed?
@jfly22494 ай бұрын
Use a bit of Velcro to strap the rear battery to one of the rack rails to remove any play and eliminate any rattle. The new contoller pulls 1000 more watts than the old KT contoller models and one can instantly feel the difference. The brakes were upgraded to 4 piston and 203 rotors with brake pads that are 3 times as large and provides much improved braking over the old models.
@eRide_Addiction4 ай бұрын
Adding the Velcro is a good suggestion. Mine had quite a bit of rattle and the Velcro silenced it. 👍

Looking to buy a cruiser have a Velotric Fold 1 and was thinking of buying a Nomad 1 plus but will probably go with the wired. Are both batteries and charger UL listed? What is the chainring tooth count and tooth ratio of the freewheel cassette? Do you have a link to the wider seat because that cloud C9 seat is not as comfortable as I thought after 30 mikes I get real soar maybe the wider seat will help? Also the wobble is more in the cruiser over the freedom? This is so weird my Fold 1 is step through and no wobble at all.
@RydinNStyle2 ай бұрын
@imun1ty the wobble is mostly caused by the additional weight of the rear rack battety in my opinion. I took off the battery and didn't have any wobbling issues. I can't remember the chain ring numbers, but it's a large one (54 or 56T?). Here are links to a couple of different seats: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BFXMW9Z5?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0CS6126GF?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image

This is a very nice bike. Seems smoother than the 1st version of 2024. More powerful, nicer looking, brakes are great. I have both. One consideration to note, though, is that this is a high step through. It can be stepped through, but not as easily as a rad step through. I have to practice high kicking before using it. Getting off is a lot easier than getting on. And don't hit the adjustment for the rear shock when getting on, ouch! Anyway, I like it, no wobble that I noticed, and great bike. Thanks for the video.

How is the wobble on the cruiser vs the freedom. Like when you say it’s a bit more wobble would you say no hands on a pretty decent street is still doable?
@RydinNStyle3 ай бұрын
@benchoflemons398 I don't ride without hands, but it's just the handling on the cruiser is looser because of not have that top stability bar on the frame.

I am 6 foot five and it is a challenge to get my leg over the seat because I do have long legs and therefore the seat is high for best extension on the freedom. However, I prefer to try the step through on my next wired bike, so I ordered the cruiser.

Great commentary, I purchased the Wired Freedom back in April 2023 and finally received my bike in October. When I purchased my Wired I was told by the company that I would receive the upgraded 2024 model. Ok cool, only to find out a few months later that Wire is releasing the new 2024 dual batteries upgrade. My total for the Wire Freedom was $2,000 and $500 for shipping. I'm f@#%cking pissed that Wire did not inform me about a potential dual batteries release!!!! I got hit by their BAIT AND SWITCH B.S.😡🤬🤬🤬
