Current Run: Northern Raiders (start with: 3 decently equipped lvl 3 barbarians, a lvl 1 monk, a dog, some treasure + food, and you have an increased chance of finding recruitable berserkers + barbarians + killers + assassins, a higher chance to loot items from the battlefield!!, have at least 1-2 factions that hates you completely, and can hire outlaws cheaper but everyone else is more expensive)
Seed = RCHCZFZJFA (with water/mass ratio at 40)(5 factions & 40 settlements)
Legends Mod for Battle Brothers is the largest expansion-type mod available to the game. It contains plenty of new enemies, brothers, perks, magic, origins, etc. You can even play as the skeletons, a necromancer or even a druid, amongst many other starts. The sub-mods; World Economy, Layered Armour, Battle Sisters and Dynamic Perks add a lot of variety to the game (World-wide Magic and Theriantrophy are still a work in progress and hopefully will return in the future).

Yes tavern is a great idea, thanks for reminding me! (except it gets more people the drunk trait) Doing the 'rest' activity during camping is safer, but slower. The nearest town did have a tavern, but in our emergency I panicked haha and, in hindsight, both could have worked :) Thanks

I'm catching up on the series, but just a little note. Zweihander literally just means "Two-Hander" as such, Zwei is the word for two. Pronounced Z-why, not Z-wee.

35:27 I personally think you should've gone for every hit you could, like using nisman much sooner for example. But ofcourse it's easier talking about it later than actually dealing with it yourself.

Thanks for the suggestion. Obviously hindsight is 2020, but tbh, a bit of luck could have done more with not missing crucial hits in that fight. (rng amirite lol) But also, nisman's scythe is kinda garbage lol, any hit from that (especially against armour) does not do much at all. Definitely wasn't relying on nisman to carry that fight :)

@@TheIndomitableSnowman oh, rigth it's not a great armor cutter. Good thing there's no such thing as "grass armor" lol. Would be kinda funny if it did more damage to rotten gear for the undead. I would definitely laugh my ass off if that really were a thing. xD

I agree with the comments below that you put out both an entertaining and informative videos. Since legendary is proving to be as deadly as advertised (still wrapping my head around nimble peasants), any thoughts in hiring some cheap front line cannon fodder/brothers to take on the more high risk actions in battle? Means you can hire inexpensive brothers that might not the have best traits / perks combinations but they fill the role in protecting the brothers that you do have long range plans for. Or does that not fit your playing style?

Thanks for such a nice comment :) Cheap frontliners is a nice idea in theory but having too many can soak up valuable xp for your better brothers. Although, having a couple cheap (or dedicated 'savior') brothers that have the ability 'rotate' can definitely be meritted and is a good idea to save/sacrifice when necessary. So we might do that :) Thanks!

Glad your enjoying it! And to answer your question: Killing the donkeys isn't necessary because they auto-die if all their defenders are dead. That being said, killing them or having them auto-die provides the same extra loot. They have a chance of dropping strange meat (the small amount of food that spoils quickly)

Hey, soz for the late reply (youtube sometimes hides comments from me in notifications) I totally agree the armour numbers should be in the game (as the base game just doesn't tell you hardly anything about armour and health numbers) I'm sure they enjoyed the difficulty that brought, and it really made you get used to what armours are valued and so you could calulate what armours enemies had by remembering what they looked like..... Sadistic I know.... lol, but thank the lord we have lovely modders
