Do people realize why this law is needed? In Pakistan, the top jobs are reserved for muslims - a muslim can convert a non-muslim but the reverse is a not allowed. Islamic laws, blasphemy laws abuse thier OWN citizens! The Indian law is about non-citizens - people from outside India and who gets favored This law is designed to protect people from Islamic countries being abused because they are not muslims Hindu Teenage girls are being abducted in pakistan and sold off to old muslim men - forcibly converted to islam and when the parents go to court they are told since they are Hindus and this girl is now a muslim they have no rights! Imagine that - abusing their OWN citizens! This is the world that non-muslims live in Recently a Hindu school teacher was accused of blasphemy and is now in jail. Aasia Bibi, a Christian, accused of the same spent 10 years in jail! 10! Imgine that - if someone speaks out against Putin and putin puts him in jail would you not say that is wrong? Illegal? Inhuman? Yet this poor woman and others like her spend long years in jail just based on a lazy accusation! Now you understand why this law is needed?

In May 2018, economist Kaushik Basu cautioned Bangladesh about "the risks posed by fundamentalism" to its growth story by saying that "vibrant economies have been derailed by zealotry many times throughout history". This was before Bangladesh surpassing India in GDP growth became public knowledge. He was explaining why 'Why Bangladesh is Booming' in a Brookings Institution publication. He did foresee then that Bangladesh would soon surpass India's growth rate. He gave three historical evidence to drive his point home: (a) "that golden era" of great economic dynamism in the Arab world and cities like Damascus and Baghdad "ended when religious fundamentalism took root and began to spread" a thousand years ago (b) Portugal's "heyday of global power" in the 15th and 16th century "passed quickly when Christian fanaticism became the empire's driving political force" and (c) in more recent times, Pakistan's economy performed moderately well with per capita income well above India's but slipped below it by 2005 because "military rule, restrictions on individual freedom and Islamic fundamentalist groups" erected walls against openness. Basu also warned India against growing religious fundamentalism in that op-ed (in May 2018). "India is a vibrant, secular democracy that was growing at a remarkable annual rate of over 8% until a few years ago. Today, Hindu fundamentalist groups that discriminate against minorities and women, and that are working to thwart scientific research and higher education, are threatening its gains." so did Germany in 1940's Nazi

Okay bring as many NRC n CAA. But later please. 1st need India to develop in every aspects. 1. Increase economy 2. Increase worst health facilities 3. Increase education facilities 4. Safety for women 5. Job to the unemployed youths Etc.... But now wants to keep away foreigners s every developed countries does. Show humanity towards ur own people 1st. And stop wasting money in unnecessary things. Another crores n crores of money will be needed to carry out CAA n NRC in the country. After development we will welcome all, no prob then. Pehele desh Ban Jaye. Hindu Muslim toh chalta rahega coz no1 gonna leave that. But development 1st. 👍👍
