Did you know that you can join the military without a green card or US citizenship, if you are from certain countries?

Do you want to use the National Guard to get your citizenship?
In Episode 8, I am going to talk about people who can join without a green card from some countries!
You can join if you are from Federated States of Micronesia, (Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae), Palau, Republic of the Marshall Islands (Kwajalein, Ebeye, Majuro), Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island, and Trinidad and Tobago.
You can even join ROTC with the National Guard in the Simultaneous Membership Program, and become an officer!

Hi, I am from El Salvador and I am on the process for joint the reserves. It is the same process as rhe National Guard?

Yes! The process is the same for all branches and components, in general, through the medical exam, anyway. For the army components, the only differences are that the waiver authorities are different for the Guard, and the Guard and Reserve you know your job and duty location (most of the time) before you go to MEPS. No, it is only for the specific countries mentioned in the video
