Not that anyone asked but I finally broke up with my partner of 1 year and 1 month who abused me emotionally and made me feel like no one cared for me at all. I felt like I was left alone with myself most nights and I would often contemplate ending it all. The hard part now is staying out of the relationship. I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this or if I will, but I will try my best. It was my first relationship, and I’m only 15. And I felt like no one at all should care abt me. But now that I’ve done this, I see just how many people in my life care abt me. And even tho it’s not directed towards me, it still feels like you guys are here for me too and care abt me. Thank you for releasing this song. I have contemplated unaliving for a long time and still do but it’s my family, my close friends, and music who keep me going. I pre wrote this in my notes, so I can put this out there when I get your notification that you released the lyric video for “talk me down.” I have listened to the song before writing this, it’s amazing. It touched me in a way I feel like no one has ever done so. Seriously powerful and the most relatable song I’ve ever heard. That’s probably not a good thing but nonetheless, amazing. I love you guys, and thank you so much for everything you do and helping me keep going on in life

It may sound harsh but it worked for me. The best way to deal with this is to accept that it happened because you can’t change the past. Accept that it has impacted your life. Then let it go. I’m not saying to forget it. It’s in the past and you need to learn how to leave it there. Again, I realize it can sound harsh, but it definitely worked for me

Personally, I don't have any problems with depression and loneliness. I am happy and have a good life, but I know that not everyone is so lucky. I am a compassionate person and it saddens me that the world is so cruel, full of bans and bad people. Citizen Soldier, the world needs someone like you who understands these people and is able to help them through music. Music heals, songs make you feel understood and accepted by people you don't even know and that's wonderful. I'm glad that in this gloomy world there is a light of hope in you, I love you ❤️🔥 To all those who struggle with depression and the rest of the world's problems, don't give up! It hurts when you try to reach out but everyone makes it seem like your trauma is too small to matter and they end up making you think you're exagerating and that you're making a big deal out of nothing. Depression is such a terrible thing to go through. You keep all your negative feelings to yourself, afraid of ruining someone's day if you speak out. You desperately want to tell someone, but if you do, they dismiss you and tell you to just, "be happy" when its not that easy. I really, really, thank you guys for all these songs. Thanks guys this song is exactly what i needed right now, I'm still in therapy and had a few great days but 4 or 5 days ago my knee made problems (I have a partially riped miniskus) and i have problems getting up stairs driving and moving in general, i still can do everything but in a lot of pain. I know that it probably will get better but right now its just hard to move on.

Honestly I had a really bad moment recently, I was on the edge of doing something bad. Your music means so much, it pushes and drives to try do better. When I'm in a point where I'm not in a safe space mentally I turn to your music for help and comfort. You're the voice that speaks out when it's hard to speak. My job has been destroying me mentally and emotionally that it's started to affect me physically. But your music is my go too. I felt trapped, I don't like burdening those I care about.
