Fantastic post Mark! I remember ArtistMaster. She equally influenced me to pick-up Cold Blood's debut (the one she showed). In the 18/mo or so since that video (you have a great memory) I've picked up 4 or 5 more. All stellar, you have to seek out the self-titled debut! Moon Over Cleveland! Gorgeous! No one to better drive anyone safely into The Smiths than Rob, I still need a copy of Louder. New camera looks great, looking forward to more in '13! Hope the holiday was a great one! - Lj

So great to see you holding 'Louder Than Bombs'. It really pleases me to hear that you are getting into their music as well. I am actually touched that you got 'influenced' from me. I think you were the second VC member to honor me. It does not happen that much. I cannot say enough about Soul Survivors as well. Jim/Mrs actually turned me onto this LP as well. > I remember you had the poster to Automatic Man. I just love that record. Digging the Blue Cheer. Ear bleeding distortion indeed. 1/2 Rob

3/3 I am really touched that you showed a few of my suggestions Mark. It really means a lot to me. I lreally like that Cowboy Junkies album too. You cannot not go wrong with the Black Keys either. I cannot believe how popular that band has got. They have a massive fan base now. 'Love Surpreme', not enough words to describe what a masterpiece it is. I really enjoyed this post. Good luck in Raul's contest. He is nice guy. Happy New Years to Lisa and yourself. Be safe and have fun~ Rob/Boston

"Spending warm summer days indoors, writing frightening verse to a buck-toothed girl in Luxembourg" Well, that was the best song intro that I have heard in a long time. Good to see you back Mark. I wanted to just do a write in intro myself. Now it is time to check out the video. I will be right back~ Rob

2/2 I have to say that I am really enjoying 'Louder Than Bombs' in the background. I am in the perfect writing mindset right now. One of my favorites 'Rubber Ring' is playing right now. I just bought 'Bare Trees' recently and it is a really good album. Nice, great to see you choose four jazz LP's from Teddy's video. You and I both got into jazz at the same time. I think we both like similar jazz artists as we do with so many other albums/bands as well. Smoking Popes. I am honored again~ 2/3 Rob
