I have shortlisted 4 cars based on the following criteria(Ive tested all cars under 17L except Skoda and VW) 1- Ergonomic seats 2- Enough torque for uphill 3- Good mileage in normal city drive. 4- Good ground clearance 5- Cabin Silence/Interior Ambiance 6- Audio Quality 7- Service centre availability 8- Quality of service 9- Maintanence cost 10- Pedal and steering quality 11- Suspension 12- Build Quality Basalt and C3 pass most of these criteria(except audio quality)

The only negative I see is 180 mm geound clearance for Indian roads. I was looking at 3XO which is 201mm ground clearance

180mm was more than enough. It is a softroader and we faced no problem on bag Goa roads or big speed breakers…

Hi, I have a question about the car’s size, as I’ve seen some videos and it doesn’t look much taller than the sub 4-metre sedans, so do you think it actually does look like a coupe suv or just a bloated sedan like the first generation Swift Dzire? Also, as a frame of reference, how tall are you next to the car? Thanks!

I’m 6-2..so that’s your reference 😉 It is more SUV than sedan…nothing close to what the Dzire looked like. This looks very nice on the road.

It is..not everyone wants pure pep and speed. The 82 PS is actually more ideal if you have like 80 percent use just in the city and very few highway runs

Not driven it in Kodaikanal, but in Goa we took it out on some hilly roads - worked very well. There is minimal turbo lag and overtaking on hills was easy.

Mileage is expected to be 15-18 kmpl. Safety rating will be announced on the results are out…but 6 airbags are standard as are a host of other key safety features.
