Thanks for that, my local garage wants 1,200 quid for this job and considering they have lifts, power tools and gearbox jacks I feel that is taking the pee somewhat. In my younger day I would have been able to do that job myself in 48 hours no problem, I liked to split it into removal, then replacement on day two. Age robs us of a lot of our ability, even if we believe in our minds that we can still do such tasks.

Very good video............................. Dont any of you go thinking its a easy as it looks here. me and a mate are doing a 2014 one at the very moment and trust me its a bastard of a job, unlike whats seen here we have come across so many bolts that simply did not want to come undone.. the bolts for the starter are ok but very fiddly, the one one the triangle bracket near starter simply will not budge. the one near the radiator snapped a 13 mm spanner on that and eventual got that one free with a hammer and another 13mm spanner... the tray under the batter was a complete bastard and removing the spigot on the top of gearbox for the mount was a bit touch but got there in the end.... the amount of wiring you have to move is crazy and unlike in the vide owe had to remove the whole thermostat housing as one bolt was completely hidden and was bastard to shift..... the fella in the video makes it look easy as this is by no means his first berlingo/partner. plus he has that electric ratchet and trust me he has a good one there as a cheap one will burn out on this job.. is it ok to have a go at yes if your going to be ready for a 2 day job. unless you have done this type of thing before and i have done many clutches, these berlingo/partner can be a proper bastard of a job.. make sure you have good axle stands and a good trolley jack to get it up high... the impact gun is also extremely handy tool and will save a lot of time and aggravation....

Why not just put spring tensioners on the dtrut to kake the extraction of the crossbar easier? Would this work?

Great video but how in the name of zeus’ sphincter do you get the bolt next to the exhaust out? Edit: Ended up removing the bolt/stud that was in the way. Requires an E7 e-torx socket.

Must of done some miles, clutches last an age on them vans, its easier to drop the gearbox down a bit to get to them top bopts from underneath with an extension bar im assuming you didnt have one long enough

I better take the 1350 Euros and have the job done by a mechanic shop. 🤣 I got all the tools, but if you arent used to these things it will take aome days to have the job done.
