Great video, i dont have any issues at the minute, i just loved watching your process 🤷🏻♂️ Subscribed and all. The camera work was far better than most other youtube mechanics, you got right in to the fiddly bits and actually took the time and made the effort. Fantastic and thank you.

@@Spoofkill Why thankyou sir 🙏 This happened when our son was home from university over the Christmas and New Year. Good old dad was out in the garage tinkering with the turbo fault 🙄 I do try to get good lighting and a steady camera, as i don’t like watching the videos that make you feel sea sick 😂 In my early videos i’m really wooden and awkward on camera, but recently i’ve been more “me” in front of the camera. Progressing slowly and learning as i go on 👍 Thanks for the glowing comment, i really appreciate it 🥳 What car have you got and what engine? Sandy.

I subscribed a while back as a 2013 Citroen C3 owner who is capable of using his brain and competent with his hands but no real experience working on engines. Bollocks to paying someone to do what im able to do (and im fully aware when something is beyond me too !) You saved me a lot of money from your videos (first job i ever did was new brake pads and rotors following your video and gettint torque specs off service box) Anyways just wsnt to show my appreciation for the production quality of the videos. Crystal clear. Good lighting. Clear audio And enjoy the humour too 😅 Keep doing what your doing im sure there is many other silent viewers who havent commented but appreciate it. Alas the c3 was wrote off in a side impact by a drunk driver last week😢 .....just as id ticked off the last of the jobs on my list to bring it back to its former glory. But i am and will continue to watch your videos rega rdless ! What an essay that turned out to be sorry about that 🤣

Wow, that’s some positive feedback 🥳 I’ve been getting various lights and camera mounts on the cheap as i go along. I think it’s made the vids a better quality and i’ve got more confident in front of the camera. It’s difficult trying to make a video weekly as i work full time and i’ve only got the family cars to work on. I’m also trying to keep the channel relatable to the average home diy mechanic using only basic hand tools. I’m considering doing a (wheeler dealers) type of thing this year with the channel. Buy, do up and sell 🤷♂️ Not good about the C3 going to car heaven. What have you replaced it with?

This is a great video. I have followed every step and have managed to complete both the maf clean and changing the turbo actuator sensor. However, when it comes to my next step of changing the turbo converter/solenoid valve, I am working on a 1.6 hdi which appears to have an inter cooler so am at a loss as where to find this part within my own engine?

@gilberesrepairs22 күн бұрын
@@therealwarrior1 I would say if you purchased the solenoid from Citroen, it’s probably ok one year later… but if it’s a non-genuine part it could potentially have failed. The packaging shown in my video for the solenoid is from Citroen. The only way you can know if it’s a genuine part is to buy it directly from Citroen.

@@gilberesrepairs I confirmed from the dealer that it is original. But Yesterday the fault lights came on again(p2563 and p1496) , I parked the car in the evening, started it in the morning and the faults disappeared automatically. What should I do in this case? @@therealwarrior1 P1496 relates to the turbo actuator being stuck in one position. Have you checked to see if the actuator physically moves?
