I’ve had mine for almost 5 years, drive every year to France - 640 miles in one day, 4 adults, one child, dog and all our luggage. I get 57mpg (1.6hdi) on that journey 80 mph where allowed and the rest at 60-70mph.

I'm looking at one but am afraid 1.2 just doesn't cut it. 2.0 diesel looks very good but most of my drives are short(ish). Should that worry me if I get the 2.0 automatic one?

I drive one of thes it is a doddle.Plenty of space very comfortable seats.I supposed to change this year.Motability car.I can't see anything better on the market try to keep it another year.The 1.5 Turbo diesel is quick.All this nonsense about handling I have outrun many cars if i put my foot down.Even at 72 I still get carried away sometimes.

The eight speed auto is still jerky. OK in town but on the motorway I drive in manual because the engine feels laboured. This fault is caused by the changer always changing up at too low revs which is a software problem. There is no sport mode. In all other respects the car is fine so suggest take one for a motorway test drive before buying.

2,0 HDI is Ok.
