CITROEN DS 23 1973. INSTALLATION DE LA CLIMATISATION 01

En 2016, je fait la connaissance de Feras qui me contacte pour restaurer sa DS. L'histoire est exceptionnelle, la DS vendue neuve à son grand-père à Beyrouth (LIBAN), a survécu toutes ses décennies. Rapatriée en Suisse chez moi, j'ai restauré la DS en une année. Elle fait le bonheur de Feras qui ne l'utilise qu'en été depuis 8 années. Il n'a jamais eu de soucis, elle fonctionne a merveille. Seul bémol, en été, le plaisir est sérieusement gâché par la chaleur qui règne dans la DS. Une fois, il faisait tellement chaud, son téléphone s'est arrêté, son épouse et lui en sueur, mais la DS n'a jamais chauffée, ni causé de soucis. Mais une climatisation changerai tout. De nos jours, on a trop pris l'habitude des climatisations. Comme Feras est devenu un très bon ami, je me lance dans cette grande opération, lui monter la climatisation. Modèle Italienne, plus efficace que l'originale Citroën, moins jolie certes. Il faudra au moins 60 heures et toutes les pièces.

Nowadays, we have become too accustomed to air conditioning. As Feras has become a very good friend, I embark on this big operation, installing the air conditioning for him. Italian model, more efficient than the original Citroën, although certainly less pretty. It will take at least 60 hours and all parts.

Au vue de la complexité de l'installation de la climatisation, cela laisse a pensée que les ingénieurs Citroën n'avais pas vraiment prévu la climatisation de la DS...?
