Ce bandeau italien est tout simplement génial. L’intégration est superbe. Mais quel boulot Franchement, chapeau ! Je ne voudrais pas dire de bêtises, mais il me semble bien qu’en 1975, Citroën demandait autour de 7000 FF pour installer une clim dans une DS. La 23ie valait proche de 50000 FF. 🤪

C’était assez prohibitif. Ce qui explique qu’il y a eu très peu de véhicules équipés.

Au vue de la complexité de l'installation de la climatisation, cela laisse a pensée que les ingénieurs Citroën n'avais pas vraiment prévu la climatisation de la DS...?

Alors ça c'est sûr, la DS a été conçue dans les années 40 et 50... la climatisation n'était même pas connue à ce moment là. Un miracle que Citroën a pu l'intégrer à la DS sur la fin. D'où l'extrême rareté de la climatisation sur les DS.

En 1977, je suis allé à Paris dans une ds 23 IE, noir, intérieur cuir marron, 450 kms de bonheur, depuis je suis fou amoureux de cette voiture, j'adore sa ligne inimitable,ces sièges etc

Ah bravo, c'est de l'excellent travail, toutes mes félicitations, la seule chose qui me gêne vraiment c'est cette moquette jaune canari, tu as intérêt à mettre des tapis de sol sinon ça va être la catastrophe, mais je suis certain que tu vas en mettre, l'important c'est qu'ils ne soient pas jaune citron !!! 🤣🤣🤣

J'ai longtemps hésité à en faire la remarque, tant les vidéos sont passionantes et bien faites (même pour un conducteur de Panhard...). Mais les sous-titres en anglais sont désastreuses.. 😲

Very nicely done although it's ironic that in the country known for clock making the clock doesn't work. I'm sure you will get it sorted before you hand the car over to it's owner. Your attention to detail won't allow you to leave it as it is.

The Renault 19 electric clockwork does quite well as replacement for the old SM clockwork. You can fit it invisibly into the SM clock metal box.

Magnifique restauration ! Une réserve toutefois : le ruban adhésif sous la clim du tableau de bord ... Est-ce provisoire en attendant la remise en place de quelque chose ? Parce que comme ça c’est juste pas possible !! Pas du tout raccord avec la beauté et la qualité du reste ! Le tissu des sièges me parait également un peu étrange ... Je sais, je suis le pinailleur de service et je vais surement me faire pourrir ... mais à ce prix... Je vois aussi que la garniture de porte arrière gauche comporte une baguette supérieure Pallas, ce qui est une bonne idée pour assurer un bon maintien de celle-ci, mais pourquoi est-elle manquante sur le panneau droit ? La finition Othello ! La finition !! 😊

Citoen used in eyes of today several strange to outright obscure colours. Strange greens, blue-purple etc. The colour silver-metallic fits best to modern taste, although it is an original tone. Hence best choice.
