Nice! How did you treat the dashboard rust spots and which paint did you use?

I painted the spots with a black paint with the wrinkle effect, then I resprayed all the dashboard with the original AC 136 Gris Rosé. a light layer not to cover the rough effect

@@citro-garage I have been looking for paint , but what brand and type is the black paint? And also the original AC 136 : did you get it from citroen? and dit you treat little rust spots before painting?

there are many paint spray with rough effect on the market. they are not exactly the same effect Citroen used in the 60s, but I had to cover just the small spot where I had to sand the rust. So I sanded the rust spots, then I sprayed a layer of primer on them, then the paint with rough effect, and finally gris rosé. In Italy there are many color shops that prepare spray paint can, with any color code. Otherwise you can buy the paint can from the main dealers specialized in DS spare parts : ( Der franzose; CitroenDs.net; etc..) If your dashboard is too damaged and you need to repaint it totally, there is a shop in Italy that reproduces the original wrinkle effect, but you have to send them the dashboard to be repainted.

Yes, normal! the seats has to be renewed completely, they have been dismantled later then this video, but useful to work at the dashboard and to move the car once installed the engine. The car is going to receive a completely renewed upholstery.
