It's hard to call yourself a grown man when this song forces a tear. I own every album released. I almost feel like I would've offed myself without artists like this. Battling depression is no bullshit ladies and gentlemen. It can crush an individual. Songs like this help people to better understand that they are not alone. Dislike because I could f*ckin care less. THANK YOU DALLAS GREEN for helping me better understand what I am going through. That's all. Thanks for posting this video WFUVRADIO

What the fuck is wrong with this world that people don't appreciate him more. He should be in place of the Ed Sheerans etc. His voice is on pitch, in time, dynamic, and he is not trying to sing like someone else - it's his own voice and he's singing vowels, words and hitting notes in his range that fit his voice. He's also mastered delivery - with a sweeter, softer tone but has a slight rasp just to give it some edge and not sound like a choir boy. Most importantly, he puts emotion into it without over singing and trying to show off.

It's funny to think that he was the singer of a hardcore metal band and he can still sing like and angel

⚠️LYRICS⚠️ I fear I'm dying of complications Complications due to things I've left undone That all my debts will be left unpaid Feel like a cripple without a cane I'm like a jack of all trades Who's a master of none Then there's my father He's always looking on the bright side Saying things like "Son, life just ain't that hard" He is the grand optimist I am the world's poor pessimist You give him burdensome times And he will escape unscarred I guess I take after my mother I guess I take after my mother I used to be quite resilient Gain no strength from counting the beads on a rosary And now the wound has begun to turn Another lesson that has gone unlearned But this is not a cry for pity or for sympathy I guess I take after my mother I guess I take after my mother I guess I take after my mother I guess I take after my mother

Dallas deserves more than he gets. People don't know real music anymore, the only music that succeeds in todays day and age is songs that have some repetitive beat or autotune. This guy can sing, play the banjo, the harmonica, the piano, the drums, percussion and all different types of guitars, he is talent and pure genius.

I saw him in North Bay my hometown last year a few hours from Toronto. You are very true to say Canada recognizes and loves him more here.
