Hearing your tears in this song really get to me. So many more than likely think this is directed at a girlfriend of family member, but you can clearly hear Dallas speaking to HUMANITY as a whole. Second verse especially gets me. “We look to the heavens above for advice all our lives, searching for God in the bottoms of bottles, and in strangers eyes. We’re living in desperation, drowning in medication, lost in the folly of our age...” damn

It's the voice, the words, the emotion...this stuff hits me in my heart everytime. I swear there's a chamber in there with an old record player that plays this stuff on repeat...his haunting reminders of my pain echo off the walls...something like a murderous lullaby; it cuts deep, the wound seeps, I'm bleeding out but damn I keep hitting that repeat

@Ashley Archer Hi... You have quite a way with words. Do you write lyrics or poetry? If not you should..... Great comment!

Ashley Archer I agree with drum. This song reminds me of a man hunt exactly a year ago when two Canadians from B.C. killed two Australian tourists and a local. The killers were on the run until end of august I believe after tracing their steps eventually they found them deceased in the woods in northern Manitoba. All Canadians were on edge wondering what would essentially happen. It’s a very interesting however very sad scenario.
