Gosh Daniel Romano looks so young haha where have all the years gone. Still remember hearing city and colour for the first time in 2008 in a car driving alongside the beach with friends.

My absolute favorite version of this absolutely amazing song. It's my go to song when I'm sad or stressed or anxious or having a hard day. It reminds me that we've all got a dark side. Sigh. So much beauty in the music of Dallas Green. Thank you for sharing your beauty with the world.

My goodness they both look like babies here. KZbin made a playlist for me and this video was in it so I just decided to leave a comment here to say that City & Colour really carried my Fall experience in high school. Discovering Dallas and his music was something I won’t ever forget about. His fashion sense at this time was the reason why I started wearing coats for a while hahah.

Micah straub !! Listen to these music critics !!!! They're all commenting if there is a 3rd guitar, or if the couch they're sitting on reminds them of their Grandma's couch, or if the guitar is tuned to a different planet's liking. Holy Shit people !!! Sit back , listen and enjoy. In fact, put this song on full blast ! With your headphones on and close your eyes and just listen to how beautiful this is. Have a good night. I said goodnight !!!

Daniel Romano rocks!! His solo album was released recently!! He is so INCREDIBLY talented. He hit the charts with Attack in Black, Daniel, Fred and Julie, started his own record label (You've Changed Records) and now his second solo album is just unbelievably AMAZING!! NOt to say his first wasn't, it's just that Sleep Beneath the Willow is beyond words!! Thanks for the great entertainment!!! Obviously Dallas appreciates your talent too!!

I think Daniel Romano deserves more respect than some people are giving him. I agree, Dallas doesn't NEED anyone to sing background. but it's a nice change, and music should never be stagnant. Daniel's voice add something new different; it does not detract from the Dallas' beautiful voice. I trust Dallas' musical judgement implicitly.
@robertbruce43628 жыл бұрын
First of all, I think jvcke is right about tuning the G string up to an A is right, which means that the best version ver 2 on ultimate guitar does not match. The best way to learn the song is to try and figure out what chords Dallas is playing. Sometimes Daniel plays that exact same chord and depending on the camera angle, it is easier to see Daniel's finger position. Man this is a good song.

I've seen him play live with attack, city and colour and Daniel, Fred and Julie and every time I am blown away by how talented he is. Not to mention when Grey Kingdom opened for city and colour he played drums.. apparently he can do it all.
