It’s makes it that much more authentic. It also helps contrast greens vocals vs the average backup singer. Reminds you this is all live and Dallas green is L E G I T

I can hear my train comin' It's a lonesome and distant cry I can hear my train comin' Now I'm runnin' for my life What makes a man walk away from his mind? I think I know I think I might know I can feel the wind blowin' It's sending shivers down my spine I can feel the wind blowin' It shakes the trees and the power lines What makes a man spend his whole life in disguise? I think I know I think I might know I think I might know (what makes a man?) I think I might know (what makes a man?) No oh oh I can see the sun settin' It's casting shadows on the sea I can see the sun, it's settings It's getting colder, starting to freeze What makes a man want to break a heart with ease? I think I know I think I might know I think I might know (what makes a man?) I think I might know (what makes a man?) No oh oh Well I can hear my train comin' Looks like time is not on my side Well I can hear my train comin' I'm still runnin' for my life What makes a man pray, when he's about to die? I think I know I think I might know I think I might know (what makes a man?) I think I might know (what makes a man?) Oh oh oh I think I might know (what makes a man?) I think I might know (what makes a man?) No oh oh

If I didn't know better, i'd say this took place in the 90s... Based on Dallas' mustache and glasses, and the appearance of his backup singers. Fantastic performance though.

@XG549 Yeah, TunedB has it right Dallas is tuned down to C standard which is two whole steps lower than standard tuning. The resulting notes can be described as either CFA♯D♯GC or more often CFB♭E♭GC its a pretty standard chord progression C# D# Fm Fm (With F, G and Am chord shapes relative to standard) just with some awesome hammer-on accentuations and fills For the most part you can get away with a simpler strummed pattern but if you want to match dallas's playing Good Luck :)

That's totaly true if Dallas chose these guys it's because he wanted the song the sound like these, a little feeling of a old 40-50 and its also really fitting on the part he higher the song pitch for the last lines, people should try to understand music with their feelings instead of just listening with their ears

@MoodyWanderer: of course its ok to if you dont like it. The way i understood the comment was that he/she is questioning their ability to sing in a background. Thats where i said that, if Dallas chose em, imagining he'd have some more knowledge then most of us, they are not entirely talentless. Its one thing to say "dont like it" its another thing to say "they cant sing, he regrets chosing them". but i might have gotten the initial comment wrong.

Question: Who exactly are you to judge the background vocals that Dallas chose? I might be leaning myself a bit far out of the window but i think Dallas got a little, only a tiny little, bit more knowledge about Music and what he wants in his Background then you all.
