City Bus Manager | Episode 1 | My Bus Is On Fire!

Hello everybody and welcome to City Bus Manager!
Today we're going to be taking a look at the brand new game from PeDePe Studios; City Bus Simulator! The aim of this is to build a thriving bus company on a realistic world map, a similar concept really to NIMBY Rails!
We're going to be starting out today in the town of Halifax, fairly local to where I'm from, with of course, The Joe Ahead Group! It does seem, however, that running a bus company is a teeny bit harder than I might have first anticipated!

For the repair-shops and gas-station you better put them at the end of the road and not on the side (as you did), so that any bus can drive strait forward to refuel and get repaired. Just think how much space the long buses will need to turn to get into the garages without hitting the parked buses at the entrance. I am already imagining buses passing through other buses later on as you progress.

I'm sure you know this but busses do lots of miles. My local has some late noughties busses in service that have done around 900.000 km. I've even seen busses in regular service with over 1.100.000km done.

I won't lie. This also reminds me of Bus Simulator Ultimate for mobile(the game only has coaches😑). You buy coaches, make long trips, auction buses with other bus companies(not sure about that feature since I have time to play the game). Mostly what you expect from coach bus simulator.

Well 2 Maps as of now New Era City = New York City(MTA) Grundelphia = Philadelphia(SEPTA) I am not sure why the developers didn't go with the real names of the TAs. Unfortunately I don't have any of those links to send you. However you can get the downlads for the Grundelphia Map and the bus used in a video from this youtuber. The game is almost perfect by the looks of it, only question is that is there an option to skip to depot set up, I know it only take 10 mins but it would be nice to have an option for a pre made depot.

It looks interesting, but is it worth the price? It feels a bit steep? I mean, you can't zoom in on bus stops, no real passenger interactions. I'll add it to the wishlist and wait for a good discount I guess and keep watching your series about this one ;-)

I guess it depends how much use you’ll get out of it really. For me personally, I can spend absolutely hours tinkering about on it, if you’re just thinking of playing it casually maybe it’s not worth the money 🤷🏻‍♂️
