Ahh, yes, to feed the homeless, you must first apply for a permit. Then, the FDA should make sure the food is okay. Then, have OSHA check out your site to make sure there are no safety violations. You gotta make sure the Fire department is ready just in case a grill gets out of control. Hire an ambulance just in case anybody chokes. Hire security. Finally, pay for the permit... Rent the space. Then you can feed some homeless people... Cool... Got it...

@@emillianmartinez8342 Blue is awfully exaggerated. We barely (and thankfully) did not end up with that crazy Lake for a governor by a concerningly narrow margin. There's still too many far right wingers in Arizona, and the Democrat party is not really a left wing party, don't forget that.
@MrMarket19876 ай бұрын
@HassempyaHillbillyAZ I wanna agree with you, but don't forget that this is the same state that not too long ago had its Supreme Court blatantly rule into effect a PRE-State civil war era total abortion ban despite a newer (and still inadequate frankly) law put in place MUCH more recently. It was thankfully overruled by our politicians _narrowly_ coming to terms and getting rid of that awful thing shortly after, but the damn thin is STILL gonna be in effect till September 26 2024; Pretty sure abortions WILL be needed by then anyway, so this will still hurt one too many, nevermind others till then. This was the same fiasco that had a chunk of our narrow Republican House majority pray over the state seal as if in a drunk stupor of "worship" calling for that to stick. Too many Arizonans still support that crazy bunch.

It is not 'what' is being done that is the problem. All venues require a permit. Let them slide on permitting and other's will expect the same. What they 'should' do is offer the AZ hugs organization a 'deal' for the permit specifically because they are 'not profiting'. they are 'not marketing', they are 'not promoting', they are simply 'providing a humanitarian service'.

Feeding Drug addicts supports them but prevents them from entering rehab so is now touted as more compassionate. Fentanyl is 50 times MORE addictive than Heroin and is pouring across the border unchecked. So sad to see this and the rising number of OD's because people think drug addicts belong on the Street

would never spend a dime in Tempe.. city is backwards.. other Arizona cities are not far behind, but at least they allow certain things.. usually the end of the month and the beginning of the month is the worst time because most people are very short on their EBT cards because obviously they don't give you enough to 290 per person for a whole month. most people make it three weeks untilTheir card is empty... that's why you usually see a lot of begging the end of the month or the beginning of the month the first week.. but yes 290 is not cutting it especially with inflation prices an extra $60 on top would help greatly so they should raised by $60-$70 a month for everybody... that would take care of a lot of the begging on the street.. but yet this is pretty heartless, I know people from that area that left because Tempe is messed up.. now they spend their time in Mesa good people to but yeah I would never go there. You'd have to pay me... to spend a dime in Tempe

if I had the means, and the way. I’d be doing the same thing. But I can’t, so I help those who live in my neighborhood, who need food. I’m blind, I live in subsidize housing, I love to cook, so I’ll share my food with those in my neighborhood. If I could, I would be feeding the homeless as well. Lack of transportation is the issue. They need to leave that man alone and let him feed the people. That’s what the Lord would want.
