God opened my eyes to the spiritual life when I survived poison. A friend poisoned my sister's drink and I happen to drink it..at my demise God asked me a question and my reply brought me back to life, we battle not flesh and blood. Walking with God through a valley that is leading to emotional turmoil, cognitive distortion and uncertain behaviors is never a bad thing. Its a road that has many signals/signs (miracles) that we never see. It's a road that can become better anytime once you pass a sign. But why fear when God is near? He is the way and the light. He is the beginning and the end. He knows your ways even before you act upon it. IF HE IS WITH YOU, WHAT CAN STOP YOU FROM GOING FORWARD? What if there is a situation that is bad or a person who is being toxic in your life? lets Keep walking with God in PRAYER AND PATIENCE. For he will be merciful and show us his way so that we do not have to walk in confusion. He will carry us so that we do not feel the pain thought it is present. He will give us blessings for every challenge we overcome since he is a God of LOVE AND GRACE. My daughter recently had a small neck lump which I think is not serious. It has already decreased in size (like that of a pea) but has not completely gone away yet. However, my health anxiety for her consumed me. I was worried and anxious a lot that it affected my appetite and sleep patterns. I've been seeking reassurance lately and sometimes, I feel like I'm gonna lose my mind and my heart is going to burst. I cry myself to sleep and feeling hopeless lately. When I listened to this song while praying tonight, it made me cry. I know these tears will not be in vain because the Lord knows my heart and mind and what I've been going through more than I do. I remember when Tim Challies wrote on the loss of his son. Such a devastating news for any parent. Yet I'm encouraged by the fact that he decided to write a book on this subject. And I'm also encouraged by this song filled with deep truths about our frailty and the goodness of God in our very low moments. As I listen to that song, these verses form the Scripture come to my mind: "Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let’s hold firmly to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need."
