Well with a transfer you can use it for up to 3 or 4 hours with 90% success

I THINK YOU HAVE A AWESOME IDEA with the Presto card!!! I WISH TTC WOULD DEAL WITH THE TRAINS AT VICTORIA PARK SUBWAY!!! The trains are SCREECHING from 7am to 1:30am so i don't sleep very well and i'm disabled!!! I have to drown out the sound with music, keep the windows shut and take medication so i can get some sleep!!!

Bc has the compass card and you can use it from bus to sky train within the 2 hour time frame. The system also accepts visa and MasterCard and remembers the card so your only paying once. Highly more advanced than Toronto and you can use it in all of metro Vancouver.

You people should be lucky and grateful. We only get ONE free transfer in NYC because our corrupt state government in Albany keeps raiding the lockbox for the governor's pet projects. Also, you are saving the environment and reducing trash by not using all those paper transfers.

@@tom.o.5488 I know this is a really late reply, but it goes like this. If you hop on TTC in Toronto and it goes out of Toronto, then you are going to have to pay an extra fare. But you can transfer to YRT for free once you paid the extra fare in York Region on the TTC bus.

TTC is in the 90's .. all the surrounding regions have already used the 2 hour transit system (EG. MISSISSAUGA, HAMILTON) can we please go back to turnstile and not use those dumb presto flappy gates that break? and that allow people to fare evade like no tomorrow.

This is not good at all. If you have metropass its unlimited. If there is delay and your travel time is 4 hours chain ride from one end to another you pay two times with presto. Its only good if you had wasted a fare price for one stop trips that are with in 2 hours.

2 hours is not fair when the transit system sucks. There is always transit delays. The advertisement of presto card is that you only pay $6, but you are forced to put money on the card and you can't roll over your monthly pass as TTC claim there is no extra charge.

two hours hop on and hop off will not help TTC users at all. Going for doctor's appointment takes two hours to commute and then wait times at doctors office and then getting to talk to physician. Two hours is not enough at all.

Gordon Freeman you’re thinking too small. With an unlimited pass of two hours it would encourage more people to travel around the city spending money in stores and restaurants. Hopefully it’ll encourage people to not bring their cars into the city or to busy malls like Yorkdale.
