Extrem geil Michael.

wonderful video Michael; I very much like your workflow and I do much the same for many of my own shoots - staying in one place for quite a time, and letting the scene change in front of you, and capturing that, I learn plenty from you - thank you

Excellent video and great photos as always. Being so lonely at that time of the day is fantastic to the shoot. By the way, didn´t you think it could also be a bit dangerous in a strange city?
@mibreit-photo6 жыл бұрын
I'm always cautious and aware of my surroundings. If it doesn't feel safe, I usually skip the photo opportunity. While it's never 100% safe to photograph in a City, I found Rome quite ok in that regard. I never felt unsafe and didn't get into scetchy situations.

Very good video Michael. You seemed a bit nervous, looking around to be aware of your environment. I haven't gone to Italy because of all the warnings about equipment being stolen. What precautions did you take while in the city and did you take your equipment out with you during the day? Thanks.
@mibreit-photo6 жыл бұрын
Hello Steve, it was one of my first attempts at vlogging in a city. So I was mainly nervous because it feels weired vlogging in public. Today I'm a little better at it, but it's still strange and if people are close by it's hard to ignore it ;-) But as with any city, you have to be aware of your surroundings. I wouldn't say though that Rome felt dangerous. In european cities I usually take my gear with me any time. It's safer on my back than in a hotel room or car I'd say. I haven't had an incident yet, but I'm always a bit careful with hotels.

Once again Michael thank you for sharing your skills and techniques. But I have to confess I am at a loss with the finger - thing in the frame. Obviously, you are going to see your finger when processing. Do you have tutorial to show how you process and remove the finger, would love to know how you do that....

Where is this place you photograph the Forum Romano?

Next to Kapitol. Walk around there a bit, not hard to find

Can you share a Google map location of where you were when you shot this?
@mibreit-photo6 жыл бұрын
This spot is so easy to find ;-) If you are in Rome and visit the Forum, just take a bit of time to explore. It's not only about photography but even more about getting to know a place.

Michael Breitung I appreciate your tips and your video! However, I only have 1 day before I take off, and I'd like to be able to visit this area before sunrise before my flight. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Go to the Capitol and walk up the stairs, straight across the plaza and then to the right. You see this in the video ;-)
