Love joining you on these awesome walks. Living in Cornwall UK where we rarely have snow this is more special. Been using these walks on treadmill for 2 years but now as rehab after a heart attack in July keeps me focussed. Agree with what you say regarding commentary, there are already many others who play just ambient sounds or music on loop play but having your commentary Henry is like walking with a friend. Thank you.

Hi Henry. Quite frankly I used to be one of those guys who enjoyed watching mostly those scenery videos which would just play the natural surrounding sounds, until I came across to your channel. Well, there are different ways to enjoy these kind of videos. That all depends on the kind of personality of those who make them, and each one of them could be nice, with natural sound or a piece of music in the background. Although, I have to say that your voice is so heart warming and delighting and your commentaries are quite interesting and comprehensive that keep me following your foot steps, admiring the views and listing to you enthusiastically. I haven't commented in a few videos but I wanted to let you know that I'm really enjoying the new direction you're taking. As the person who found you about a year ago and went back to watch all your videos in order, it's been a delight to watch the evolution. I've lost over 30 pounds and this channel has been a major factor when I can't get out on real-world trails. Really enjoyed today's video and those from the last few days. The Livingston area is charming and I can see why you chose to live there. A couple of questions/ comments about this video. I had no idea Spanish moss was out there. It is, of course, ubiquitous down here in Orlando. As for lichen have you ever come across Pixie Cup lichen, aka British Soldier Lichen or Red Hat lichen? I really like the paved trail. The sort I used to push my mother's wheelchair and not kill either one of us. Looking forward to more hikes. Thank you so much

Hi Mags! Thanks for you support on Patreon by the way. We don't have spanish moss out here. I was just using that as an example. I haven't seen those lichens you mention, though I'm not an expert. I really just listen when @travelingmel talks about them and then only remember a few. :-) Glad the walk brought back memories.
