Hello Henry. I am so glad to hear that you will be talking more even on the nature walks. That was what drew me to your videos over a year ago. It really helps to have a walking partner, if you will. There are many, many channels with quiet nature walks but yours is unique.. Thank you for always being a cheerful and knowledgeable proxy walker.

Hi Henry, now you're educating me. This walk inspired me to look up aspens. I discovered that the "aspen" in my garden is actually a poplar and the "birches" in our woods are really aspens. Terrific walk. You have such great trails out there. Thanks.

Honestly, I’m enjoying to watch your walks and listening to your talks as well. You have beautiful fall foliage .Yes, even here in Canada, we have a glorious fall this year. This is a very nice nature walk. The wasp nest, grass, leaves on the ground and even the dead trees make your walk more beautiful ...

Henry, keep talking! I love your walks, love hearing from you and Montana looks beautiful. Our colours and trees haven't quite changed yet. We had a conversation about your set-up and I would love for you to do a set-up video to see how you do your work. I'm also interested in how you deal with variability in lighting - I find the Osmo Pocket doesn't deal with shade very well if I'm filming on a sunny or cloudy day. I'm trying to learn editing programmes to fix it. All the best, Angela
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, you too! I'll see if I can find some time to make one of those. BTW, I use davinci resolve, for editing but also to fix some of the minor color issues. -H

Thanks for your time and the walk Henry. I can't help but compare your Autumn to mine. I think we are probably about two weeks behind you. We had an unusually warm October. I Googled hikes near Livingston to see if there is a nearby walk I could request. I came up with Palisade Falls, but I am genuinely grateful for where ever you go. My thoughts on climate change. Well....No one would ask a climatologist for advice on how to run a political campaign, yet too many people seem perfectly happy listening to politician on climate science. I can't wrap my head around that. Take care.

I appreciate the knowledge you share in your videos. There are other 'silent' videos people can find if they prefer. I also appreciate that you often show the parking at the trail head, its nice to see the layout/accessibility. We want to vacation in Montana in a family friendly location to explore, hike, bike and eat out. Do you think Bozeman would be a good home base for younger kids?
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Bozeman is a pretty good place to base out of and so is West Yellowstone. I highly recommend joining the facebook group run by my wife called "Yellowstone, Glacier, Montana Trip Planning" at facebook.com/groups/YellowstoneTrips

Henry from Maine here. Hunter etiquette Don’t follow, choose different trail. Wear your Blaze orange. Bitting my nails on this walk. Jogger with white dog is clueless. A deer’s white tail is target to shoot.
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the concern. I’m well aware of the etiquette but that goes both ways. It’s a shared space so both users must respect the other. This is one of the most frequently used trails in the area and my assumption is they were actually accessing another trail that is much less used. Certainly hunting season necessitates adjusted and considered use by all parties that will allow everyone to use the public space safely. -H
