I do love playing around with great work placements to see the little +2 and +4 bonuses stack up, and then in the long game seeing my tourism suitcase catching up to the other civs' culture line. It feels insidious and I love it!

I've always found Tourism/Culture as kind of a trap that I leave for myself, like, it's the ticking time-bomb in the event I have a competent rival, because of how civil disorder will threaten to screw everything up, while at the same time acting like a silent neutron bomb if harnessed. Many a time have I been on a science or domination path, and used civil unrest as a weapon to slow my rivals, and culture to enhance relations with client nations.

Ah yes, one of my most favorite civilizations. Great bonuses to culture, and I like to have the brazilwood camps, they encourage a bit of science and culture too. Vote Pedro for immortal god-king!

I've been playing Civ V since about 8-9 years now and I discovered your channel a few months ago. You have the best gameplay mechanics content that I've known of this game. A good example of cultural influence. Is Germany and Mexico. German colonists brought beer and “oompa” music that gave us all the mexican beers from dos x to corona, as well as influencing mariachi music

I play on 6-7 difficulty. These guides suit mid-higher level plays (except where I cover off the basics first of course).
