I hope the lack of views doesn't kill your motivation, your videos are great and very useful, i'd be sad to see them gone

It isn’t great for motivation 😂 but I enjoy the series, and I know people like you do too. Your comments and likes and stuff keep me going, so thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Hey Jumbo!! Just want you to know that I searched for a good while to try and find updated guides for Civ 5 and yours are far and beyond the best for covering all levels of the different portions of the game. You deserve way more attention and praise for these videos you've clearly put a ton of work into!!! I'll certainly be sending ANYONE I come across who needs help to your content.

I do love playing around with great work placements to see the little +2 and +4 bonuses stack up, and then in the long game seeing my tourism suitcase catching up to the other civs' culture line. It feels insidious and I love it!

I've been playing Civ V since about 8-9 years now and I discovered your channel a few months ago. You have the best gameplay mechanics content that I've known of this game. Now I'm about to start a hotseat game with a few friends that are new to all this and I'm rewatching your vids to be able to cover up the most important things so we can have the best possible experience. Once again, great video!

Great vid, man! You made me love this game by understanding more about it. Hoping to see more Civ5 contents! I would love to see some guides for different civs I haven't played yet (like those Venice and Babylon vids you made, but to those more intricate or unheard of civs). Thanks for all the Civ5 guides!

I've always found Tourism/Culture as kind of a trap that I leave for myself, like, it's the ticking time-bomb in the event I have a competent rival, because of how civil disorder will threaten to screw everything up, while at the same time acting like a silent neutron bomb if harnessed. Many a time have I been on a science or domination path, and used civil unrest as a weapon to slow my rivals, and culture to enhance relations with client nations.

A good example of cultural influence. Is Germany and Mexico. German colonists brought beer and “oompa” music that gave us all the mexican beers from dos x to corona, as well as influencing mariachi music

@@JumboPixel Okay thanks because I was wondering how you got Globe Theatre and Sistine because usually Globe gets snatched as soon as I get there and definitely gone if I go for Sistine. If you can, can you make an Emperor/Immortal beginner's guide because I always get stuck or beat by the AI late game. Thanks and good vid.
