Glad to see a small channel in my recommendations for once. And this all sounds like very good advice. I don't have time for a new Civ game at the moment - first year uni exams approaching, what can you do? - but I'll remember you when I do. Good production quality, too - on par with any Civ youtuber.

I found it rash that Firaxis would add that +100 healing bonus to the cothon. The ability makes Phoenicia an invincible wooden wall (that is if the player was competent with the naval units, so not your usual AI opponent) unless a player times an attack with more advanced units like a cartography rush or even use of many, many trebuchets if the land route is possible. The healing bonus is probably why the bireme is not a specialized unit, how could they make it as good as the longship when its defensive option is so much better than the longship? I always found it weird how the wooden wall civ isn't England, but hey, at least there is a wooden wall civ. Phoenicia really was the final maritime civ that the game needed; later additions like Portugal are more of an example of how good trading is rather than projecting power through the sea.
