Kae. Thank you bruh. You Have explained the whole process with easy to understand video. Every video I've seen till now is either hard to understand(GodSpeed), skips parts of install( random video's). Especially GodSpeed I mean come on you make the product so at-least explain with pics. And for other guys who skip parts, they shouldn't make a video if there gonna skip parts of it. Thanks again you saved me the pain of calling GodSpeed and my pockets for professional install

This video was very helpful bro 🙌🏼 I was a little hesitant to go with Godspeed coils because I was intimidated by setting proper preload. How exactly do you know that you’re getting the same amount of drop on the rears as the fronts tho ?
@blaqjac212 жыл бұрын
You dont , you have to set it up as you go , i put both front and rears at the same height and go from there . Set the front how you want then the rears

how do you exactly adjust the rear height? I already have mine installed, just wanna properly lower the rear more
@JoseLopez-fe3yl2 жыл бұрын
You’ve to lower the back spring purge once you compress it and if you’re not happy with the height then that’s when you start to loose some of its comfort for low

To adjust rear preload after installation could I just jack up the hub, loosen the collar, and then change the preload that way? or do I have to undo the bolts that hold the strut to the hub as well.

What's the best adjustment for a smooth ride on the coilovers.
@blaqjac216 жыл бұрын
Smooth ride isnt determined by preload . Preload is the proper way to install them . Spring rates and dampening adjustment will determine ride quality . EDITED

i have the same coil overs for my 8th gen and i was wondering do i adjust ride height with the shock or the collar on the spring, and also what do you mean preload has to be done every time you change the height?
@blaqjac215 жыл бұрын
Seyone Yogan in the front you use the shock , loosen the bottom lock ring and thread the shock down or up to raise or lower . You dont have to reset preload in the front when you adjust ride height Rear you use the spring perch to change ride height . Then reset preload once you raise or lower the rear

@@blaqjac21 how do i reset the preload in the rear and in the front i justr use the top spring perch to lower and bottom spring perch to raise as it moves the whole shock down and up, it this correct?
@blaqjac215 жыл бұрын
@@seyone31 in the front you set the preload then lock the rings together . unlock the VERY bottom collar and you can use either or to raise and lower the whole shock as long as they are locked together .

I tried to find a way to contact you privately, but I could not find your contact info. You are recommending far too much much preload. Preload reduces droop travel, which is a big no-no. Hope you re-do this video and show people the correct way... which is only preload as much as needed to hold the spring in place and no more.
@georgeniels56163 жыл бұрын
I'll give a comment on all Godspeed Project products. If you haven't been given complete instructions , plan on paying high end garage as company provide no directions for tuning their products. Very disguised on their site and the reason they accept no returns without 25% restocking fee.
