Civic update 5 things I hate (2013 Civic LX)

It's been one year with the Civic, here are five things I don't like about it. Also a channel update.

I have a 2013 Civic LX just like yours. I got it a year ago, September 2018, from my grandpa and it only had 10,700 miles on it since he hardly ever drove. Now I’m at 68,000 miles 😂😭 but I’ve never had a single problem with the car. I’ve only done oil changes and put new tires on it

my 2012 lx civic just hit 80k miles today ..still drives like the day I drove it out the lot.

@@eriks8382 it’s a 5 speed automatic but yea I changed the fluid at 50k miles before I gave the car to my brother. They went CVT in 2014

You can't see the hood? Big deal man, because the car is low, is to your advantage as you have more visibility. The steering wheel is fine as it is as it comes with electronic steering instead of power steering. The steering has 360 degrees radius. Back up camera is not bad either. In general these cars last a long time. I saw one with over 500k miles!! Still running.

Keep the 13 model. My sister has a 15 lx model and in her civic, the dash is a matte plastic as opposed to the faux metal in yours, the seats are less plush in hers, and the cvt makes the engine sound less smooth

Wow I didn't know, I'm looking for the 13 model. Hopefully in a month or soo I will get it. I was going to get 15 model but I really don't trust that cvt.

Just bought my 2012 civic lx. So far I love it. Got with 66k miles. You can get a touch screen android 9.0 for the radio that's made for that exact dash. And other cool Upgrades on Amazon.

The lack of front end visibility. The salesman tried to sell it as a bonus, oh your view isn't obstructed by the hood. FFS however it seemed to be the style at the time so I BOHICA. Still can''t stand it though. Over 200K KM [120ishK miles] and almost no problems. So it ain''t all bad.

@@westwood3286 - ended up with an 07' accord exl. really like it. will love it when i put some cool rims on and a rear lip spoiler. the stock rims for the 7th gens were pretty ugly.

I have a 2013 Honda Civic & the #1 thing I hate is my key won’t unlock the driver side door anymore anymore. It works well on the ignition (key is used for both door & ignition) 😡😡😡

There’s a button on the left side with a scroll button. Definetly put to middle. I also had my ac recharged and filled and made all the difference

I bought a 2014 Honda civic, 3 weeks ago,and love it.All I did was put some custom 17in wheels, with tires. Just like things to doll it up.Great car,sounds little pickiest to me.

Not bad. I have 14 lx sedan same color. Did 14-15 ex-l wheels oem fogs and leather steering wheel upgrade. I can’t complain I put 110k in 2 years. I haven’t had any issues. I changed the plugs a few months back and it’s running good. CVT hasn’t given me any issues. Not bad tho

I bought my 2012 civic and the DRL is on the little backup camera screen I think someone disabled them n now my headlights don’t automatically cut on 🥲

I was actually debating on whether getting the 2015 or 2016 Civic. Unfortunately I couldn’t stand the front hood visibility. I’m average, if not tall and I still could not see the tip of the hood. The front hood visibility still isn’t great in the new Civic but it’s better than 2015. I also hate how there’s no glovebox lock like you mentioned! I also agree with your point on how they changed the seats in EX and above. Great video!

KoreeC Orlando Drivers From my perspective I found the front and side visibility better on the 10th gen. But I prefer the rear visibility in the 9th gen you have.

I've had my car for 15 years. I've thought about making a joke "Ford Ranger" review video so ya'll can have a good laugh. "So yeah, here's the split bench seat, no lumbar support what-so-ever! You'll notice here there's a lack of cruise control, it keeps my feet nimble..." 😂

Personally I don't care for the Honda Civic or CR-V's horns. They sound too buzzy. I'm not sure how to describe it they aren't very loud or effective in my opinion. But other than that Hondas are great reliable cars!

My cousin has a 2013 Honda Civic EX in silver. Nice car. So comfortable. I rode in it a few times while I lived in South FL in a few years back. Of course, my cousin has some things she doesn't like about it either lol.

You should come up to Illinois during the winter. Then you will truly know what cold is like. I have never seen the need for a back-up camera. Why not just turn your head and actually look at where you are going?

Central Illinois Dashcam I'm originally from Ohio so I know what cold is. Lol people here don't know the meaning of cold, it's quite funny. I never needed a backup camera before but it is handy to have because it's wide angle and can see cars coming before I can.
