As a long term civ player and over 20 hours of playtime for civ 7, I can gladly say that this is a 10/10 for me. They have fixed so many problems and issues that the past civ games have been lacking. Look past the hate train people are on and try it for yourself.

It's the same cycle as ever. New Civ game comes out with just the basegame systems and content, some bugs, etc. Everyone hates it but they'll still play it because it's fresh and new after a near-decade of the last game has grown stale. They fix the bugs, release more content, add more systems with Expansions, and then it ends up being the best Civ ever. Then they release a new Civ game. Ad infinitum.

@burakonlem21432 күн бұрын
I bought the Founder's Edition, and played about 5-6 hours so far. It needs polish, UI is bad, the game lacks a lot of "quality of life" features, such as quick movement or mouse edge scrolling. However, it is still a very good game, and I can easily see it becoming one of the best Civ games after a DLC or two. For me, buying the founder's edition was worth it. To be able to start playing the vanilla game earlier than most players, and the price covering the future dlc's of 2025 is a good deal for me.

A lot of people going on in the comments about not buying games on release day are forgetting a key fact. Without people buying games on release day, they flop, they hardly get updated and they dont get sequels. Instead if moaning about it, maybe thank thoughs of us willing to play a maybe not so polished game (although ive already got over 30 hours, had 0 issues and am enjoying myself) because without us they wouldnt of even gotten to civ 7
@JohnRader-p2s21 сағат бұрын
Definitely a 10 out of 10 so far.... yes a few bugs, but all games come with bugs that get sorted out. Also the more people that play the faster the bugs get worked out because you have a bigger group reporting.
