The language Attila is speaking is Chuvash, it is the ancient Hunno-Bulgar language. Chuvashes are Volga Bulgarians. Before the Turkic Khaganate the Turkic languages were called Turan tele. Originally the Turkic Khagante's name was Turan Yorty and it was founded by Bulgars, Khazars and Avars. Later Turan Yorty split into 2 parts: the Turkic Khaganate (in the East) and Great Bulgaria (in the West). Anatolian Turks (Turkey) originate from the Turkic Khaganate while Volga Bulgarians (Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Moksha/Eryza, Mari El) originate from Great Bulgaria.

Chuvash is not at all a derivative of Turkish. It is quite unrelated, being from the old branch of the Turkic languages. I am not a Muslim, either.

I would not blame developers for this. They should not forget, however, that native speakers are a great opportunity to add a value to the game, e.g. new players from Chuvashia, using natives as a particular feature of the game, etc. This could aslo help to raise a public status of the language spoken by 1.6 millions of Chuvashs. Nobody knows what the Hunnic language sonded like, so they leigt placed a Hungarian voice actor and had him speak some Chuvash lines in his native Hungarian pronunciation. The result is an Altaic sounding Chuvash-ish language that was used as placeholder for Hunnic.

The language Attila is speaking is Chuvash, it is the ancient Hunno-Bulgar language. Chuvashes are Volga Bulgarians. Before the Turkic Khaganate the Turkic languages were called Turan tele. Originally the Turkic Khagante's name was Turan Yorty and it was founded by Bulgars, Khazars and Avars. Later Turan Yorty split into 2 parts: the Turkic Khaganate (in the East) and Great Bulgaria (in the West). Anatolian Turks (Turkey) originate from the Turkic Khaganate while Volga Bulgarians (Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Moksha/Eryza, Mari El) originate from Great Bulgaria.
