I gotta admit I was hesitant about civivi for a while until I handled a buddies elementum over a year ago. I got a baklash in 154cm and brass for a edc/beater to try out myself. I'm like 8 civivi deep in the collection now and don't regret one. Been on a damascus kick lately and have to say that civivi does it right. Waiting for a fixed blade elementum in the dark hand rubbed damascus if ya'll are still listening! Lol 👍

I love them both… especially the satin blade with the leather sheath! I do have to say though, I’m disappointed that the mosaic pins on the prototype didn’t make it to production ☹️ I really liked the look of them!!

If only there was a Blade HQ exclusive super steel fixed civivi elementum..... maybe in cpm 3v, cpm M4 or even S35vn!! with a leather sheath and a firesteel loop.... With the same quality and beautiful finish of the satin blade handle... I think the knife gods would be pleased to see the elementum ascend to top tier fixed blade category

I would have preferred a non-coated blade and a matte finish solid black handle in both contoured and flat versions, and for the leather sheath to have been all black. Also, I'd prefer the blade shape to be a straight-back, but I can live with the regular Elementum shape. I'm sure these knives will be popular enough to justify future manufacturing runs, so I'll hope for my tastes to be met with subsequent runs.

10Cr15CoMoV is the composition of VG-10 I prefer it over D2

I think it's cool that it comes with a lanyard already braided and attached to the handle. Good for outdoors and a better grip for bigger hands. Then for everyday carry, just take it off and go about your business.

Hard to pick which I like best. Definitely like the Kydex sheaf. Definitely like the black blade, but not D2. I do like the contouring on the white blade's handle. Wouldn't be surprised if a 3rd All-Black Fixed Blade Elementum pops up.

No, because of the different handle shape it only works with the black.

Great looking knives. I'd love to get one, BUT neither has a lanyard hole. I am a bit past my prime 79), and my old pal, Art Ritis, keeps making it difficult to hold onto a knife (never mind what it does to a handgun). I don't need the lanyard YRT on my 1911, but they are almost a 'must have' on my knives.

Both cool and both for very different purposes. The flat handle is a tactical version slim multiple carry options and then the other is more of a camp outdoors knife that you can work with all day without the hot spots of the tac version

Hello CIVIVI, Must go w/the blk. out version, as for the handle but then again that smooth handle one it's at least it has thr continued handle. The leather sheath does not allow for scout carry. It is tip down only.

I'm a little bit confused by these. The Elementum was successful because it was a perfect, unassuming, inoffensive EDC folder made well. This fixed blade is too big to be socially acceptable, in most places, the hollow grind means it's not really an outdoors knife, the slick micarta means it's not a hunter. I'd have loved to have seen a sub 3 inch fixed blade, with thin handles, and a scout carry kydex sheath.
