If im not mistaken, they put out more of the story films after this music video was released. I think they are the epilouge version of the fims and it goes into more detail with each scene, Like the motorcycle one, it shows you why he sets it on fire. They are worth checking out. Cix is very talented and I hate that I didnt get to see them live at one of their concerts.

"the tragedy carries thoughout the whole sentiment of the song". Totally agree, everything about this comeback just feels so thoughtfully done. And I absolutely love the song, my favourite title track of the year so far. Everything about this MV really overwhelmed me the first time I saw it. Incredibly heavy subject matter, but I think they handled it very well here 💜 and the boys did a fantastic job. Really appreciate your reaction, thank you for doing it!

CIX has such a sensitive & beautiful storyline. I love how they always follow their identity . The combination of the song & music video is exactly supposed to make you emotional. The song brings up how hard it can be to get over the pain & heal your wounds. Also Their a good actors . The song so heavy . Amazing vocals harmony. It’s continuous of the films from Numb era ❤

The story film collection is actually the censored version, so if u wanna check out the gritty details you should check out the individual films if u ever get the urge. I personally love this story for the message, the thought put into it and the seriousness in which they take these subjects

Lol I found one of my previous comments explaining jungle. Hyunsuk's sin was the rage and anger he felt towards his dad, his was consider the 5th circle of wrath, where is he crossing the river of Styx, seunghun was his sin for turning against God, the 7th circle ring 3, the Great plain of burning sand, yonghee was apart of the 7th circle too, in ring 2: violence against ones self, which is why he is running through the Forrest, bx was the 8th circle for being a hypocrite, jinyoung was the 9th level, round 4 traitor to their lords where he is completely frozen, unable to talk or reach anyone.

Hmm.. A motorcycle is there in Movie Star too! Yonghee sits on one. Somehow or the other, all their MVs are connected. Stella is there in Cinema! Seems like the boys were making a movie together, in this clubroom ❤

So idk if you know but their whole concept is based on Dante's Divine Comedy, all the music videos play into the concept even starting out with movie star. This concept was so well thought out by the company its actually mind blowing. I could literally talk about their concept for hours. Also Stella with a project that they did together before their falling out with each other. I don't want to spoil any more of it in case you do watch the rest of the story films. It makes more sense if you watch everything in order starting from movie star, then the short films before numb, then numb, then also have short films they released after the numb mv, then it goes jungle, cinema, wave, 458, and SMKM. They also have b side track called bystander that was based on bx role of just watching something happening but not doing anything to help. The lyrics are insane. To give a little more perspective on jungle, and once it clicks you'll be like omg! But jungle is based off dantes inferno where each member is going through a level of hell based off the sins they commited in the short films. Yonghee is trapped in the woods (bc su*cide), jinyoung is frozen in ice (bc his betrayal to yonghee), bx is fire (but I can't remember why, sorry its late at night), seunghun is sand (for turning against god), and hyunsuk is stuck in the river of Styx for rage against his father. Theres some really good videos explaining that. If I can find the links again I'll post it. So sorry if there's any typos 😅

Cinema reflects Yonghee and the group youth memories that’s why it’s so nostalgic and sweet but not so bubble gummy🥲 Movie Star linked to the inferno as you can see the first scene shows the quote from Dante Infreno quote over the gate to hell “Anandon All Hope You Who Enter”. The movie star had double meanings 1) CIX were on movie production club in high school together. The song repeatedly said it’s like a dream. So it’s a flashback of save me kill me. 2) the lady who they refer you to on the Movie Star (my interpretation) also refer to Beatrice who appear in Dante’s Devine Comedy. You can see her on 458 MV which the story line of their lore was intertwined to Dante’s purgatory. 3) the beginning of Movie Star starts with the water or the river of death. If you watch Numb, it’s the story that link Save Me,Kill Me and Jungle together. As you watch the story films here, all the karma which each member did let them to fall and suffer on different levels of hells on the infreno in Jungle. For example the rapper guy BX who didn’t help Yonghee (the guy which was bullied and harmed him) he fells and was burned in the certain level of hell. He was suffered. And then he burned the motorcycle of the bullies in Save Me Kill Me. Also you see his rap scene 458 has fire burning in the background. If you see Wave MV, at the end you can link everything backward as it acts as metaphor of both the journey from Inferno (in Jungle) to Purgatory (as you can see the top of the mountain of purgatory when their reach their destination. Then the story also represents a bittle sweet memories which runs through Yonghee’s head during he himself lying on the bed in emergency room. The lyric of Wave encourages young ppl to overcome the difficulties tho it seems impossible. It’s a sad bob. The word Stella is seen here again as the link to Dante’s Devine comedy referral of ending each chapter and also its the movie project that CIX kids worked together on their high school movie club. Oh btw, if you notice Yonghee pov is always as the third person in the Wave. That’s a confirmation that the story was from his pov. There are more and II can talk about CIX lore all day. I’m sorry for the long reply. But hope it helps if you are interested to know more about the stories behind this MV 🥺💕

i’ve watched almost every music show performance and managed to tear up basically every single time even without thinking of the video/storyline, the choreo is so beautiful and expressive and as always the vocals are sooo good one of my favourite comebacks of this year

i haven't been able to rewatch this MV yet but i figured if i were to do it with any reactor it'd be you. thanks for handling this release with the care and sensitivity that it deserves while still not holding back your thoughts and opinions on the MV and song as a whole. this song came out during a week that i always spend mourning the loss of a friend to suicide every year, so "save me, kill me" touched me profoundly even though i'm not familiar with cix's storyline (i know their names and faces). i also noticed that the volume on this MV seemed a bit low, the mixing felt a little hazy, and it certainly feels intentional to me. i agree with you that the post-chorus is where it really hits, musically, at least. it was the final scene that really broke me, where they're watching a projection, seemingly of their memories together, at the end. i'm honestly not sure where i'm going with the comment, i'm sorry. thanks for the reaction as always!

All of their title tracks fit together perfectly once SM, KM came out. (Sorry you're missing Numb so it doesn't quite feel like it lol, it's way more directly related to this MV). I should also mention that the EP has gotten a ton of play time from me, especially Curtain Call.

the edited version of the story films you watched is actually censored btw. in the original videos you can hear the sound of Yonghee's wrist being cut, the blood, him actually falling off the building and also the car accident scene.. very triggering
