Can you pleeeeeaase put up a sample of your writing? I've got the alphabet sample sheet, but I'd love to have a reference showing how you join various letter combinations.

I thank you sir! because after weeks and weeks of research, I completely forgot the best place to learn in the modern era, KZbin; It only took me a couple of videos to get to the "Improving Your Cursive Handwriting" Video, and after watching this one Finally I have a better Idea on how to start fixing my Handwriting, you have a beautiful Handwriting style, so thank you once again for sharing the sample page with us! Cheers!

CJ, I love your handwriting. In fact, I prefer it much over normal roundhand. I want to learn to write in cursive too, and I'd love to write in CJ roundhand with my own personal tweaks. What steps can I take to start learning? Should I look for roundhand guides? How can I learn to join the letters from your sample script?

Could you make a video on connecting the various letters? My writing looks pretty good already with your CJ Roundhand, but whenever it doesn't, it's because the connections don't really work together.

+Nikxo A Basically just do a web search on cursive and/or calligraphy script. There are a lot of images of alphabets and here and there a video. For the most part, though, it's just practicing -- keeping what you like and changing what you don't.

I'm a left-handed writer and always smudge everything I wrote... I'm now stuck with turning my paper by 90 degrees and I literally write upwards instead of from left to right just to not make my text blur. Do you think I have a chance to get a good handwriting anyway?
@CJCS9 жыл бұрын
wowVishanka It's adaptation and practice. Even as a rightie, I'm most comfortable with the page at a fairly extreme 60-degree angle. For proof that a wondrous writing can be done left-handed, I present Master Penman John DeCollibus kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqXMpqOQZ7GSi5om27s (btw, he writes with the paper at 90-degrees or so).

What pen nibb do you use Medium or small
@CJCS5 жыл бұрын
I used a medium nib in the video. In life, I tend to write small so I gravitate toward EF nibs.

my nickname is CJ and my name IS CARTER
@bcw969 жыл бұрын
what kind of nib do you use? size, flexibility??
@CJCS9 жыл бұрын
Bryan Warne I prefer fine nibs from Pilot. They are finer than most other fine nibs and usually write smoothly. They aren't flexible and thus are everyday writers, not calligraphy pens. I mostly rely on dip pens for calligraphy.
@Gyzyn9 жыл бұрын
CJ's Creative Studio Is that 78G with a fine nib? If so, it seems definitely wetter than my 78G. I had to hack out the feed's channel to get the flow that I want. It's a very pleasant writer now. Nothing to complain about considering the price.
@CJCS9 жыл бұрын
Actually, that's a 78G body with a Metro M nib. I'd swapped them because the Metropolitan wasn't available with a F nib at the time. And yes, the M is somewhat wet.
