Just installed Roush Cat-Back on my 2016 F-150 5.0 Engine, Unless you like a LOT of Drone keep the front resonator. I could not stand the drone driving on the freeway so I had to put back on the resonator pipe after a week. Exhaust Sounds Perfect Now ! Drone is Not Bad

I helped my friend install this exact exhaust for his 5.0, funny thing was we didnt need a lift or jack, it has a 6 inch lift, so we just went under it haha

I'll start with saying I'm a dodge guy so I don't know ford sound that well...but I want more from this exhaust but again just a flow matter on a dodge is a game changer. so being a 6 cyl and a Ford I probably don't how what to look for. But I like obnoxiously loud ground shaking camped V8's so that's my 2 cents lol. Curious and performance gains?

OscarCortez87 I know own a 2015 5.0 and it's way better than my ecoboost, I get that there's a weight difference. But my buddy had a 2011 5.0 we did the same drive and his was 1mpg better than my 2011 ecoboost.

The ecoboost is better in the perfect scenario. If there hills, snow, wind anything the mpg plummets because of the turbo. It's the nature of the beast.

We all understand that our ecoboosts don't sound like a big block v8. The funny part is, we make more horsepower. We have decided to trade in on the sound for better fuel economy, and (more) horsepower. Unless you 5.0 boys have a procharger, the 'boost is gonna gitcha. Having said that, I'll leave my exhaust stock. Unless I just get so far along in modding that it's a bottleneck for me.

Not only has the EcoBoost shown in real world driving to not perform as well as the 5.0 in fuel economy, but you also need to go check the numbers again, as the 5.0 still makes more horsepower from the factory than even the brand new 2nd gen EcoBoost.
